“Fabulous Stay!”

We stayed at the Iroquois from April 23 - 27th, 2008. We had booked a classic room with 2 beds. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a 2 room suite due to our SLH membership. Zoraida checked us in and was very nice and courteous. The room was one of the nicest rooms we had ever stayed in. Beautiful, clean, clean and clean!

The location can not be beat, right in the heart of Midtown Manhatten. Walking distance to Rockefeller, Central Park, Times Square, Empire State Building and much more.

We talked with the concierge on numerous occasions and she was very helpful.

The Red Flame restuarant at the end of the block has great food, reasonably priced. We also at at the Jewel of India on the other end of the block which was also great!

I have stayed at the Iroquois in the past and will be returning in October. We will ALWAYS stay in the future, it is really a top notch hotel.

“Lovely service”

I spent three nights with my daughter - who had never been to New York before - and specifically wanted a boutique hotel that would seem more personal. We felt that the hotel was home and were happy to return at the end of each of three busy days of walking , shopping and theater. The room, though small, had comfortable beds with lovely Frette linens. The marble bathroom was furnished with plenty of towels and lots of Molton Brown toiletries. The staff was gracious and attentive and the Triomphe Restaurant was outstanding. The Iroquois is a member of Small Luxury Hotels and they always have superior properties on their list.

My friend and I decided to spend a weekend in New York, and we booked rooms at the Iroquois because they were relatively well-priced and very well located for our theatre excursions. We were not disappointed. The rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. The manager himself asked to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if he could be of help. The front desk staff and the concierge were all very helpful with directions and reservations, and the breakfast buffet was a very good value. We would both definitely return.

“Loved the Iroquois”

We have just come back from spending six days at the Iroquois hotel in New York. This was our first time in The Iroqouis. We have found it by "mistake" over the net thru an affiliated hotel after looking at the hotel website and reading the details, we have contact the hotel directly and made the reservation. As a frequent traveler with countless trips to NYC. I had never heard of it. As a global business traveler I have learned to judge hotels on the basic competency of the staff. Good service almost always translated into a good experience. My wife and I spent last week at the Iroquois. The hotel was fantastic. Classy, clean and very warm and welcoming. The room was enough for two people not to be falling over each other and their luggage. Our room which although wasn't huge, was very comfy, with a stunning marble bathroom and molten brown toiletries, which were regularly replaced. After a long day in the city, to come back and have our beds made and chocolates left on our pillow as part of turndown service, was great for us. The staff, as other people have said on here, are what really adds to this hotel. Friendly and pleased to help you. Complimentary Coffee at the lobby every morning from 7 AM to 10 AM Is a big pulse( I would start it at 6Am for the Jetlag suffers). And a cold lemonade for rest of the day. The hotel is well situated, close to the show we attended. close to times square, and the subway is a block away. It clearly has an European flavor to it, small but complete. It's a great location.

All in all, we would definitely go back! V. recommended

“Excellent stay in a great hotel”

We arrived at the hotel from Europe at 11pm and received a warm welcome from the front desk. We were escorted to our room which had 2 double beds . It was small but clean and well appointed . We had trouble getting the safe to work but they sent a maintenance guy to see us at midnight. The bathroom is very elegant but also small. Taking a bath was out of the question as it was tiny. Housekeeping were also great and never disturbed us. They left bottled water every day and the weather card at turndown is a lovely touch.
The staff are excellent and always greeted us by name. However, they were not overbearing as can sometimes happen in smaller hotels. The location is perfect and the hotel has doormen who provided us with umbrellas , maps and were very helpful.
There is a computer available to use in the lobby and you can check flight information in real time.
It is located on a quiet street so we never heard any traffic. In fact we never heard the other guestd in the hallway either, the rooms seem to be very well sound-proofed.

This hotel feels like a private European mansion and it's easy to forget that you are in the heart of Manhattan. I'm looking foward to going back.
