After reading about many German places in NYC, we set out to try Lederhosen. It is a small restaurant with picnic tables to sit at for dinner in the back room decorated in German murals. There is a small bar in the front when you walk in. The beer selection was not extensive, but had some things we had never seen or tried. All were good. The food was excellent and priced very reasonable for NYC. The wiener schnitzel came with lots of extras to please the palate; red cabbage, sauerkraut, potatoes with a spicy curry sauce and 3 different side salads. One was a green-bean salad, but all of the food was tasty. The waitresses were friendly and gave us complimentary apple sour shots to top of the great meal. I would recommend for all fans of German fare.
