We stayed at the 373 Hotel in May, it was a fantastic hotel for a 5 day visit. Great location to just get out there and walk to where ever you wanted to go. The staff on the reception were particularly helpful, especially Olga, nothing was a trouble for her.

The rooms were fairly small, but they were very clean and had everything you needed, the Starbucks was great for a quick coffee in the morning to get you kick started.

we had a great time and 373 Hotel will definitely be our first choice when we go to New York again.

If you get chance when you are out there have a trip with the Gabby Cabby you will definitely see all of New York and it will make your holiday.

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the hotel. Everything that has been written previously is true! The location is fantastic. we booked a queen room and, yes the rooms are small, but as you spend so little time in there, it isn't a problem. The beds are extremely comfortable, which is heaven after walking around all day! The shower is nice and powerful to wake you up, after dragging yourself out of the comfy beds! We stayed in room 601 and had a view of the Empire State Building. I didn't find the lifts slow, and on the one occasion we had to wait for the lift, we chatted to the friendly staff, who even brought up the weather on the internet to see why the predicted thunder storm hadn't arived? When we return to New York, we will definately be booking Hotel 373 again.

We visited NYC for 3 days to visit the art fairs. 373 was centrally located and easy to find on maps (thanks Empire State Building). The room, while small by other areas standards, is large for NYC standards for the price! Less then $200 a night and you get a big, comfy bed and a private, well-cleaned bath. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure too. We had no view but didn't care. Once we walked around the art fairs all day, nothing was better then falling into the big bed to rest our feet and watch some mindless cable tv. This is not a place for someone who brings all they own when they travel. There is no dresser for your clothes and one smallish open closet area. Pack light. Pack smart. The hotel is quiet and is located near some good restaurants. For a quick bite, it's beside a nice diner/breakfast place ($10 gets you fresh yogurt with fresh fruit and granola, tea or coffee, more fresh fruit, toast and juice) and above a Starbuck's. But NYC has great restaurants so find them, map 'em and have fun! (Try "Home" in the village.)

Yes everyone says the rooms are small and they are smaller than the average (we had a king room - you could just about walk around the bed) but size is not everything? The location could not be better, the staff are fabulous and the whole experience was a treat. Will certainly stay at 373 again.
