Although the service was adequate, the food was the worst I have ever had in NYC--maybe the worst food in any restaurant I've eaten in period.
The prix-fixe luncheon menu was overpriced and limited. The "appetizers" consisted of a basket filled with whole veggies (cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, etc.) and large cuts of luncheon meats (e.g., salami) dangling from a wire. What was left by one table appeared to be recycled to the next diners.
The entrees, served with HUGE helpings of greasy French fries, were mediocre at best.
One glass of the cheapest house wine was priced at $14.
The restaurant is located in the theater district, so for the rest of the week I ate in other areas and never had a bad meal.
