We recently dined her on a Saturday evening. We were seated promptly in a cramped area of tables. Our waiter was attentive,
but we were definately rushed. The eggplant appetizer and the
salad with grapefruit were delicious. Our entrees were the veal marsala, and a shrimp with pasta. Both were very good....
No coffee is served here. I've never seen such a small amount of espresso........They obviously don't want you to linger!

eat there this past saturday sept. 30, 2006, got the table right by the door, then waited to long for a waiter to wait on us, when he finally did his attitude was something else, like we should be happy he finally got to us. food was okay, not at all worth the money, one salad and two lunches, two wine (they do not serve hard liq.) $75.00. unbeleivable. will not go back. there are so many other places to try in the north end. do not need the attitude.

I somewhat agree with "watered down's" comments, although my experience wasn't as terrible. Curious how I keep seeing this restaurant on the "Phantom Gourmet" though.

Food was just okay. The veal was chewy, the antipasti was pretty good but uninspired. We've had much better Italian food at much better prices.

Don't be fooled by the pictures of the celebrities on the walls and HDTV's showing The Godfather 2, A Bronx Tale, My Blue Heaven, Gotti & Goodfella's. The clam appetizer in a garlic broth was dry & overcooked and my shrimp & fafalle pasta came with a non-existant red sause with the worst shrimp I'veever had in Boston. Waiters are attentive and friendly and the owner does his table to table politicing however this still can't make up for some really bad food at 5 star prices.
