Let me start off by saying that I usually stay in 5-10 different hotels a year, and am a Silver VIP member with the Hilton HHonors program.
I stayed in this hotel in July of 2005, on a walkup basis, without a reseveration, at 1am in the morning. My flight had arrived 3 hours late, and it resulted in me missing my Commuter bus home. (I did not have a car for this trip, as it would have been too expensive to keep it parked in Boston)
Rate:
Walkup rate of $129/night
Rooms:
The room was your average new Hiton property with a small bathroom, but a very comfortable bed. There was a desk with HSI, Sitting chair, TV, and a big picture window with an airport view. The MiniBar in my room did not have a lock on it, and the room did not seem properly stocked (Eg. Pen/Paper, Hotel Guide, etc). Although, the room was clean, which is really all that matters.
Service:
Since this was a strictly sleep/shower/go home stay, I did not interact too much with the staff, although, Checkin was pleasant, and checkout was the same. There is a constant every 10 minute free shuttle going to the Airport, Subway station, and on request (depending on the driver) any of the other 3 hotels in the immediate area. The drivers were very friendly, and would remember you if you tipped them.
I would not stay at this hotel for any other reasons other than anything involving the airport.
Side Note: As far as I could tell, there are no vending machines in the hotel, forcing you to use the minibar. HOWEVER, as I later discovered there is a 24 hour Dunkin Donuts in the baggage claim area of Terminal A (Short Walk, via dedicated skybridge to the hotel).
