“Excellent service and stay”

Hilton Boston Logan Airport

5 of 5 stars
England's green and pleasant land
Apr 13, 2008

Just returned from a two night stay at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport.
Great location, great service, spacious, well equipped contemporary rooms with fabulous views across Boston Harbour. We stayed on Room Only so can't offer an opinion on the dining availabale.
Would definitely stay again. Soon!

“Great Hotel for Travel”

Hilton Boston Logan Airport

Apr 12, 2008

This hotel served our needs very well for an overnight and early morning departure from Logan. The hotel is connected via sky bridge to Logan which is great for Delta flights. However, we were flying American and although a bit of a walk , we were able to get to any terminal using the airport sky bridges. We never had to go outside and didn't use the free airport shuttle. We were able to leave our room at 4 am and be in our terminal well ahead of time for our 530 am departure.
The hotel met our needs perfectly. I enrolled for Hhonors points but really don't expect to be treated like the King of New England because I have them. Check in was easy and the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was super modern and nice. We used a park and fly rate for 4 nights and then the hotel only charged us 23.00 for each extra night, making it actually cheaper then staying in Logan central parking area. They give you a special card to swipe when leaving. There really is not an option for food other than eating at the hotel which is very overpriced and only very average food. The workout room and pool looked very nice but didn't get a chance to use them. It was great returning after a 5 night vacation and departing the plane, grabbing your luggage and heading back to the hotel via sky bridge to obtain the car. All in all a great hotel for travel.

“Ugggh!”

I am an Hhonors Diamond member, and get great treatment from Hilton properties. Not here! I got a little room across from the ice machine, no drinks in the Executive Lounge, $14.95 a day wi-fi connection fee (cellular modem doesn't work in this hotel), and to top it off, I asked for a breakfast coupon, since none were enclosed in our envelope. I was told if I wanted breakfast, I had better pay for it! As a "courtesy" after raising a fuss, I was given a coupon for one day, and told that was it!

Breakfast was awful!

I love Hilton properties, but will make sure I never stay here again!

“Very nice airport hotel”

Hilton Boston Logan Airport

We stayed here on a Friday night in late March, two couples in two rooms. Thanks to its direct bridge connection to the airport, this Hilton is an excellent location for an overnight stay near the airport -- and with the free shuttle to the airport subway station, it's also conveniently located for sightseeing trips into the city. We got a very good price the night we stayed, and thought about staying here again the following weekend but the price had more than doubled; it's an excellent $150 hotel but not worth $350!

The rooms are modern, well furnished and clean, and those on the city side have a nice view of downtown. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. On-site food choices are somewhat limited and a bit pricey, but the bar is quite nice and you can get morning coffee and pastries in the lobby.

“The Good, the bad and the ugly”

Hilton Boston Logan Airport

We had orginally booked with The Embassy Suites hotel, and got bumped to this hotel for our stay because the Embassy suites had oversold thier rooms.

The Good:
This hotel has the nicest, friendliest staff I have ever stayed with at any hotel. Everyone just knocked themselves out to deliver the best service that the could. Particular Kudos to Henry the front desk manager for spending hours with me trying to straighten out my reservation after the Sales manager at Embassy suites botched the transfer of reservations (mine as well as about a dozen others). Rooms were nice, clean and adequate although ours was a bit small for an airport hotel.

The Bad:
Food at this place is very high priced. Breakfast buffet is $22.50. Appetizers in the Bar were $13 and up. Sandwiches ranged from $15-$19. Food was ok, but not worth the prices.

Shuttle to the T station was frustrating. Shuttle buses desparately need new shocks. Shuttle was slow to arrive a few times, and once never got sent at all.

The Ugly:
You are trapped at this hotel. There is NOTHING around the area, so you either eat at the hotel or head into Boston. If you want to catch a movie, too bad. This is a hotel situation where you get up and leave for the day. No coming back to take a nap or drop off bags from shopping because it is going to take you a good half hour to take the subway, then wait for the shuttle to finally get back to the hotel. If that doesn't bother you, then stay here. But for these room prices I will stay downtown next time.
