I had a very early flight from Boston and had been looking for a good hotel near Logan. Everything was up in the $300 range so I decided to try Priceline and was shocked that I got the Hilton for $90!!! This is an above-average Hilton. The lobby is airy and immediately inviting. Check-in (and check-out) was quick and friendly.
I was given room 360-- a smoking room as I'd requested. I understand the anti-smoking issues, but I admire Hilton for still accommodating those of us who can't quite kick the habit. The room was large, sleek, clean and had a nice view of Boston. The tv was brand new, flat-panel with great resolution, although the choice of channels was a bit limited (about 25) when compared to some other hotels. I couldn't quite master the a/c system which I set at 68 but kept bouncing back to 74. It didn't matter much because the glass captured the cold outside, but on a hot day, I would've called maintenance.
I ordered room service, chicken quesadilla and a turkey panini with fries. The food was good quality, especially the fries which tasted fresh-cut. It wasn't a culinary extravaganza, but it did the job.
As for the walkway to the airport, it's really only useful if you're flying in/out of terminal A (Delta). Otherwise, use the hotel shuttle which runs 24 hours.
Highly recommended hotel for travelers needing to stay near Logan.
