we have just returned from another wonderful stay at the bostonian.
this hotel is in a great location and the staff cannot do enough for their guests.
decor is a little dated but the rooms are spotless and the location out weighs the decor.
will be returning again.

If you want to be near the Quincy action and aged under 30 this might be for you. We had a room facing the market and Faneuil but it was very average and extremely noisy at night. Also the price of this hotel is way above the value you get. Breakfast was poor and cramped and there is no suitable evening dining facility that you would want to enjoy. The only excellent thing about this hotel was the concierge who was professional and did all she could to help

This property has potential, but is in bad need of a remodel. The common areas are nice. The service was good. But the rooms are worn out. Furniture, carpets and fixtures are in dire need of an upgrade for this to be considered 4 star hotel. Watch out for the hidden costs. Parking is $40.00! Hotel is only 7 stories, so don't expect a view.

The room was disappointing for the price. Two of the four lights didn't work. The bellman said he would get them fixed, but that didn't come to pass. The dim lighting did, however, somewhat hide the dirty carpet and peeling wallpaper. A travel companion had a remodeled room that was very nice.

I would recommend requesting a remodeled room or bring a flashlight.
