“Loved the Sweet Biscuit!”

Our family visited the Sweet Biscuit Inn a few weeks ago and had a wonderful time. The Innkeepers were charming and helpful, our breakfasts (and surprise snacks) were delicious and our rooms were attractive and comfortable. We loved sipping lemonade on the porch after spending the day in the hot sun at Biltmore. In addition to its southern charm, the Inn is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood with nice broad sidewalks --(ideal for runners/walkers). It's close proximity to th Biltmore House and Village is also a real advantage.
Our hosts were very knowlegeable about the area - they made some excellent restaurant recommendations. And their warm hospitality made our children (ages 14 & 11) feel very welcome. We highly recommend the Sweet Biscuit Inn.

The Sweet Biscuit Inn is a converted 1911 home tastefully decorated in a country motif. Each room is large and contains a bathroom with a clawfoot tub. There are many interesting books in each room, as well as in the main hallway. The owners, Rob and Angela couldn't be nicer, more gracious, or more accomodating! Each evening candles are lit on the wide front porch, and a pitcher of lemonade is on the table with glasses. The inn is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood and the owners have done a beautiful job landscaping the property with wild flowers and ornamenttal plants. In the backyard there is a swing set and jungle jim for the kid's to play on. The Sweet Biscuit is one of the few inns that welcomes kids. Each morning a sumptuous breakfast is served at a long table set with candles and wildflowers from the garden-it feels like eating breakfast at the "Waltons". When in Ashville, this is the place to stay-you will not be disappointed!

We stayed at the Sweet Biscuit Inn last Thanksgiving and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though the owners were not in town, they left the inn in wonderful hands.

The inn has been beautifully restored and is incredibly comfortable. Our room had a small foyer, high ceilings, a wonderful, large bathroom with clawfoot tub and was decorated with just the right touch of modernity. No chintz or busy wallpaper here, just pure class. Meals were plentiful and good. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in the dining room, which had a roaring fire every morning. It was also very relaxing to sit in the rocking chairs on the large front porch and enjoy the quiet neighborhood. The inn sitters were always available to help with suggestions and the area maps and the notebook detailing area restaurants were very helpful. On your next visit to Asheville, give the Sweet Biscuit Inn a try.

We stayed at this bed and breakfast this past summer- and loved it. It is a 1915 Colonial Revival home that was converted and now houses several rooms with baths in the main house and a very attractive and comfortable seperate cottage that has a kitchen, bath, two small but very nice bedrooms and a living space. As we stayed both in a room in the main house, and the cottage, we can rate both as top-notch. The young owners are very friendly and very helpful to their guests regarding things to do, and in our case, also helping find a doctor for our daughter. The food was also wonderful and plentiful, with different dishes each morning served on coloful Fiestaware. We felt fortunate to have stayed in this wonderful B and B - and you probably will too.
