We stayed in a one bedroom condo in this resort. The unit was very new, well appointed, and in good shape. The bedroom was spacious and so was the bathroom (connected to the bedroom but with separate access through the hallway as well). There aren't many dining choices on premises: a couple of pool bars, a very well-stocked convenience store, and a nice, more formal restaurant. No room service at all. Since all the units have full kitchens, I imagine they’re expecting you to dine in.
The pools are very nice and were not crowded. You can rent floats, covered chairs and tents (and do so in advance if you really want one of the four-person tents).
They are building a spa within the complex, but it was not done in May. For spa services, you have to drive (or take the shuttle) to the Westin hotel down one mile the road.
The only major caveat that I’d make is in regards to what they call ‘ocean view’ suites. We paid extra for an ocean view unit and, upon check in, were shown to a third floor unit that was pretty much facing the kids’ pool but had a partial ocean view from the balcony if you looked all the way to the left. I called the reception to say that we had booked an ‘ocean view’ suite and not a ‘partial ocean view’ one. They replied that all ocean front units are reserved for time share owners (which we are not) and that anything with an ocean view was then called ‘ocean view’. In other words, contrarily to most other resorts, they fail to differentiate ‘partial view’ from ‘ocean view’. Our loss.
