“Newly Renovated Hampton Inn – Friendly and Comfortable”

Hampton Inn Brookfield

April 11th, 2007 – I had the opportunity to spend one night at the Hampton Inn in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The hotel has undergone a complete renovation within the past year or so. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, functional and comfortable.

We arrived at the hotel at about noon, three hours earlier than scheduled check-in. The hotel was able to give us two of our three rooms immediately and I received my room about an hour later. Check-in was fast and I received the king non-smoking room that I had reserved.

My room, #439 was beautiful. I liked both the layout and the décor. The room featured Hampton Inn’s new style bedding and work area. The room was very clean and smelled fresh.

The king bed was very comfortable and had both feather and foam pillows. My only complaint was that the electrical outlets were hidden behind the night stands making it difficult to plug my cell phone in next to the bed. One of the features that I liked about the room was the “night lighting” above the work area. It was just enough to be able to see, but the room was dark enough to sleep comfortably.

The work area had a pull-out work table and a very comfortable office-style chair. Wi-Fi high speed internet access is complimentary, worked perfectly and was reasonably fast. Using the Speakeasy speed test download speed was clocked at 440K and upload speed at 165K. Connection to our corporate VPN worked well.

The bathroom décor was up-to-date and very functional. Amenities included shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. There were plenty of clean white towels. The shower curtain bowed outward for extra room in the shower. Water pressure was excellent and hot water was available almost immediately.

The hotel has a nice indoor pool and whirlpool spa. Next to the pool area is a compact exercise room. The exercise room had two treadmills, a stationary bike and a stair stepper. There were plenty of towels in both the pool area and exercise room.

The complimentary breakfast on the one morning I was there consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage patties, muffins and rolls, cold cereals, oatmeal, and fruit. The coffee was hot and good.

Noise bothers me and I was happy that my room was not next to either the elevators or an ice machine. Rooms X25 – X27 are across from the elevators and rooms X35 and X37 are directly across from an ice machine.

I was very happy with my stay at the Hampton Inn Brookfield. The staff was friendly and the hotel in excellent condition.

So i stay at Hilton Hotels about 20 times a month, I usually stay at the Embassy Suites (Brookfield Suites) but they were full. I decided to stay at the Hampton because they had the last room left in town. I guess i found out the hard way why it was the last one left. The rooms were old, and the hotel was small. The pool had 7 year old children in it all day/night and there was no time to relax with out getting a headache. The hotel manager was rude and never spoke to me like i was a guest. I will never stay here again, i should have just drove to Chicago!

We appreciate all feedback given on this website and take all comments very seriously. However, I am concerned that this comment may have been placed in error, as there are 3 other Hampton hotels in the Milwaukee area. My hotel is located on Barker Road in Brookfield and has been completly renovated as of June 20th, 2006. (This comment is from August of 2006, after all renovations have been completed.) Our hotel is virtually brand new! Everything from hallway capet and wallpaper to a complete Guesroom remodel. In fact, our hotel is the first Hampton Inn to have the NEW Hampton Brand Guestroom concept available in every room. The new design is a rich and welcoming feel with deep cherry wood work and bright white linens on a completely brand new bed.
Our hotel strives for Excellence and has been recently rated in the top 10% off all Hampton Inn's. I encourage anyone considering traveling to the Brookfield, WI area to contact me to discuss how me team can be accommodate you. I would be happy to address any concerns you may have regarding comments that have been posted on this website. My email address is asimchak@ncghotels.com.

“Great hotel, every stay”

I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. We stayed for the entire month of December 2005 for business. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful in whatever we needed. They even stored coats and extra clothing over the weekends when we would fly back and forth home. After a month, they even became like family to me and my co-workers.

I stayed for 3 additional weeks in July 2006 and was pleasantly suprised to see that they had completely redone all the guest rooms with a flat TV, built-in wood desk and closets, new couches, and completely new bathrooms. They also have the white Hitlon down bedding.

I will continue to stay at this hotel anytime I am in town.

Stayed here over Thanksgiving for several nights. It was fabulous! Comfortable beds, good breakfast, nicely deorated, clean, clean, clean. I couldn't say enough about how pleased I was with this place. The kids used the pool and had a blast. It was many times better than other more expensive places we've stayed.
