Was there for 1-week in October and another week in Nov for business trip.

Very standard set-up for a Hilton Garden Inn. Small gym (only 4 machines) but the pool is well-lit and easily accessible.

Needs to do better job with house-cleaning. Found used coffee in the coffee maker and also supplies are not restocked everyday. Also, the wireless internet was barely working during my 2nd week of stay. I needed to get an ethernet cable from front desk...and apparently they only have very few available (I was lucky enough to secure one). This meant I was stuck at the desk the whole time I needed to go online.

Great location - right in town centre with 10+ restaurants within walking distance. Hotel has small room service menu but they also allow California Pizza Kitchen to do room-delivery at a $2 charge.

Parking is free - only draw back is that the overnight parking is across the street and you can only park on the 5th floor (or higher). The elevators to the parking works fine, but the on and off ramps are horrible and make you dizzy after going through 5-6 times.

I have not had the pleasure of staying in Town Center before this weekend. We always pass the hotel and have wanted to stay there - so this past weekend we booked a last-minute reservation w/AAA and stayed in room 430. We live in Willoughby so we are not too far away to begin with, but we like to check out the area hotels and escape from time to time. This is a nice businessperson's hotel. Very clean, had a very nice computer desk in the room. The view is of Virginia Beach Blvd and the hustle and bustle....nice pool and workout room. Very comfortable bed. I saw reviews prior that mentioned wear & tear on the beds however this bed felt new. It was very firm, but not uncomfortably firm. Four nice, plush pillows and a suede-covered body pillow. Nice sheets and a thick comforter.... we had a pleasant nights sleep. The bathroom is very tidy - it's an all-in-one unit which is okay for a couple, but with a family this may prove a little aggravating. Towels were very nice and soft. Staff very friendly upon check-in (that's the only time I spoke to them). I used the zip-out feature on the telephone to check out so check out was a breeze. It's like a cruise...they leave the tab under the door - if you have no questions, then you dial one key on your phone and leave your name and room # and you're done. I didn't experience breakfast there. The only complaint, and this is stretching, is that the tub backed up when my companion took a shower so I was unable to take one. The water had receded by the time we left but this would have posed a problem if we were travelling. This hotel is very centrally located. If you put on your walking shoes, you could wine and dine at a nice steak house, hit the bar, go see a movie, visit the mall and see a comedy show without getting back into your car. Parking would have been across the way in the garage but since check in is after bank hours, we were allowed to park in the bank parking lot. So, something to keep in mind on Saturday and Sundays after the bank closes. Otherwise, no issues and a very clean room and great price off-season ($139.00 w/AAA).

Wonderful hotel, great location, reasonable rates, peace & quiet, plenty of things to do! Wouldn’t stay at another hotel.

This hotel is Virginia Beach’s best kept secret. The hotel is very quiet, as well as it’s surrounding area. It is 15 minutes or less from almost anywhere you want to go – beach, aquarium, zoo, movies, dining, gym, go-karts, jet skiing. The only issue I had all weekend was the Jacuzzi had some problems staying clean for some reason, but this truly was the only thing this hotel needs to work on. The indoor pool was cool, they have a small workout room, but for $5.00/day, you can use the fitness center across the street. P.F. Chang’s and The Cheesecake Factory are less than a minute in walking distance. If you forget to pack something, there are plenty of stores less than five minutes away (driving and walking). I am very particular when choosing hotels. I reviewed every single hotel listed for Virginia Beach on Tripadvisor (and other sites), and my research paid off. This will definitely be my hotel of choice anytime I visit. Oh and it has free parking in the garage across the street.

Well ,after reading some of the other reviews I was a bit hesitant to go to this hotel even after I had booked it. However, I did go with my family (husband and 5 year old), and we enjoyed it. It wasn't far from the beach, but far enough from all of the traffic. Everything was how it was described. Fast check-in and check-out.

I would definitely stay there again. Loved the restaurants and the atmosphere as a whole.
