Had a brief weekend and the hotel was totally booked w/cheerleaders. The front desk and housekeeping were very accomodating, the restaurant needs some customer service training. The restaurant was closed from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and I saw many guests directed to the Subway across the street. The bar doesn't open until 5 p.m. which amazed me and many other guests. The restaurant staff was overwhelmed and rule bound. Breakfast never opened at 7, they were never "ready", usually about 7:15. Outdoor dining was at the staff's discretion...sometimes yes, sometimes no. The sign out front stated lunch served Fri - Sun. No lunch on Friday. The hotel itself is clean. It is lined up along the beach w/every chain imaginable. Go for the beach and keep your culinary expectations low. This place is in the middle of tatoo parlors, t-shirt shops, fast food dives, and people.

Great Hotel, perfect location. We have a large SUV and there is no parking garage at this hotel so we fit at the hotel and they had an offsite lot for overflow. The indoor pool was small once a few families showed up but it wasn't bad. The place was clean and the service was great - no complaints here at all. The views from the rooms are fantastic. Would defintely stay here again.

I stayed there for my birthday and I made a vacation out of it. I loved the fact that I could just park the car and didn't have to drive it until I had to leave. Everything is jsut a short walk away. When you are going down the guest room hallway, on your right side you have all of the guest rooms (facing the ocean), and the other side was just windows facing the street. We were there during the Christmas parade, so we just sat in the hallway. We were able to stay warm, and we had front row seats. Then, when you are out on the balcony, you can see tons of cars driving on the boardwalk for the light display. It was great, I would love to go there every year. And the prices for rooms are so cheap compared to summer!

My fiance and I stayed here for 2 nights starting on Thursday 15th September and I have nothing but compliments for this hotel. The room was spacious, the bed (king size) was extremely comfortable, the shower was perfect and the view from the room and balcony was amazing!

We ate breakfast at the hotel both mornings which was also very good, we didn't get chance to eat dinner as there were a couple of places along the boardwalk that we wanted to try out.

The hotel itself is in the ideal location, not too far away from anything.

We had a fantastic time! The weather was beautiful (If a little windy..) we were in town for the blues fest which was a couple of blocks away and if you have never been, I suggest you go check it out next year!!

If we head back to Virginia Beach again, I think we will most definitely stay here again... Although we discovered the outer banks in North Carolina the following day so who knows!
