Just returned from the hotel from hell! Please do not go if you have small children or wish to sleep at night. The hotel is full of kids between 13 &18 and who don`t have any respect for anyone.The first 5 days of our holiday it was full of large parties of school football teams from around Europe, who did`nt seem to have any adult supervision so ran around the hotel day and night shouting and banging doors! The hotel has the thinest walls i have ever experienced so it sounds like they are in your room. The hotel put us on the 7th floor with 2 small children in a room which i can only describe as a prison cell, they had squeezed four beds into a two bed room so you couldn`t get to the wardrobe or get on the balcony without a great struggle.
On the 6th day of our holiday it was the German invasion they were noisy, rude and didn`t beleive in sleeping at night. We had to get security up at three in the morning because of the noise,they were urinating off the balcony and throwing things off.This was a common thing as whilst we were there people had thrown a chair, a full bottle of water,glasses and stones,so you had to sunbathe with one eye open. On our last day my partner was spat on whilst he was sunbathing.
If you go all inclusive beware you spend your holiday in an endless que for a drink as there was only ever two barstaff for hundreds of people, and when you did get served you were only allowed two drinks at a time and they were very small glasses. The food was ok but did get very repetative, We don`t want to see pasta for a long time. On the plus side the entertainment reps tried their best with the handful of small children ,they did do a miniclub during the day and a small disco at night. So unless you are a 18 year old party animal who has insomnia this hotel is`nt for you!

Sadly this holiday was booked before we checked on here or we would never have bothered. All the comments about German kids up all hours and the decaying decor of the hotel is true. The resort is pretty much Chav City and the only good point being the train out to Barcelona which I would recommend for a great day out.

Some hotel staff may be rude but given the pissheads they put up with from 10:00 in the morning till midnight who can blame them? Try tipping them and watch the level of spirits rise in your glass. Reception staff were very polite but so were we.

If you intent to brave the evening meal then the best time is during the children's disco and the wine on tap isnt too bad but the coffee is the worst i have ever tasted

my family and i have just came back from the htop olympic hotel today . we stayed for a week .
the rooms were absolutley tiny , 4 beds were squashed into a 2 person room , it was so cramped we couldnt even open the balcony door!
the food was pretty rubbish - not much choice , the same every day. the waitresses were very rude to us.
the bar was ok , staff seemed friendl enough - although we did que for about 20-30 mins waiting to be served.
hotel isnt really for famillies , mostly young teenagers gettting drunk.
overall i was not impressed with this hotel atall , i certainly wouldnt recommend familes come here.

the third time at this hotel and i can't believe how much it has changed, the staff are unhappy , the German's took over, the food was pork pork and more pork, the noise level was twice the level than in July last year, Germans allowed to throw chairs and glasses off the balconies, pushing in at the bar and no matter how rude they were the staff seem to like them better than the British, they should have all been muzzled like wild dogs. i will never go back to this hotel even if they give me a free one.
