“Excellent, but the room was on the small side”

We booked through Hotwire, and were very pleased with this hotel. The beds were wonderful, the towels plush, and the room was very clean. Nice long desk area to work. Only negative was that the room we were in was narrow, so it had a cramped feel to it. Plane noise was there, but not so loud that you couldn't sleep through it.

We didn't try the restaurant, but splurged and ordered room service since we were so tired when we got in. The salads were generous and fresh, and the service prompt.

Note: there is an extra charge for a refrigerator and for internet access. Wierd pricing also for phone usage. Read carefully.

Also, be careful if you come off the freeway for the hotel in the dark. It looks like you can go straight through the stop sign and enter through the side, but you can't! ( If you go straight, it's back onto the freeway and you'll have to go down & turn around). You need to enter from the front of the hotel, across the street from Denny's & the gas station.

VEry nice. Heavenly bed and great shower, as they advertise. No issues whatsoever. Ate at the hotel restaurant. Good, not fabulous, but no complaints.

All in all, would stay here again. Bed was great. That matters.

We stayed here for 3 nights in mid-April. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Everything you would expect from a Westin. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The only drawback was location, it was close to the airport, but pretty far from any attractions or restaurants, and a car was a must. The lobby was kinda small for such a large hotel, and could have used a few more chairs or couches for sitting. I would stay here again.

The Westin at DFW is a nice Hotel for overnight stays.

Staff are super friendly and a must do is eat at the Blue Fire Grill in the Hotel.

Tip...pick up point from DFW is a little awkward to find.

Nice Hotel and would strongly recommend for transiting the DFW area

I concur with the good reviews for this hotel. We hotwired and hoped for the Hyatt at the DFW airport, but got this one. It was a nice pleasant surprise.

Agree with reviews that the hotel was nicely renovated - the "heavenly beds" (absolutely loved it, so comfortable, and all the pillows!), and the fantastic dual head shower.
