“Loved the Indigo!”

Hotel Indigo Dallas Downtown

I stayed here in July 2007 for a business trip, and it was great! The entire hotel is decorated with a beach theme--white beach chairs and furniture adorn the lobby, and the rooms are the coolest! They are all decorated in pale yellow and light blue. I had a Queen Executive room for only $129 a night, and I had a mural of the beach on the wall behind my bed. I also had a cool blue and white polka dot couch, white tables and chairs that looked like they belonged in a beach house, and a great big shower with Aveda bath products. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was pretty quiet in my room.

The hotel isn't in the greatest neighborhood of downtown Dallas, but don't let that scare you. This is one of the coolest hotels I've ever stayed in, and the people who work there are very friendly and will do anything to make your stay more pleasant. The only downside was that my coffee maker didn't work, and I couldn't figure out how to adjust the air conditioning and it got a little warm in my room. But otherwise, I loved it. I felt like I was on vacation at a house on the beach. I would recommend it to my family, friends and business travelers. Try to book an "executive" room or a suite if you want more space.

“Great Botique Hotel”

Stayed for two nights this February. Booked online and got a GREAT government rate (<$100/night). Hotel was absolutely gorgeous, service was great, and the location was fantastic. The restaurant in the lobby was pricey but delicious. Upon checkout, I realized that someone had charged about $50 worth of food/drink to my room account. The front desk attendant was skeptical but helpful--she removed the charges from my account but notified me that if a receipt with my signature was found, the charges would be placed back on my credit card. All in all I enjoyed my stay very much and plan on staying here whenever I return to Dallas.

“Lovely historic hotel”

We only stayed one night, but were more than pleasantly surprised by this wonderful hotel. Service was exceptional. We arrived at 10 a.m. with the intent of dropping off our luggage until we could check in later. (The bellman had already warned us the hotel was full). However, the front desk clerk found us a room - and what a room. Two room suite with king bedroom, plus a separate living room with confortable sofa and chair. Bright, cheery colors, super clean, small refrigerator, charming bath - just perfect. Room service was prompt (they accomodated us even though it was outside their normal hours of service) and food delicious. We went downstairs later for dessert and found and even more tantilizing menu. Definitely eat here - food is superb! I can't say enough about this hotel -it was the first Hilton Hotel ever and this newest rendition has to be one of the best!

“Pleasantly Surprised”

American Airlines flew us into Dallas just as a stormed peaked and the airport was shutdown for the night. All of the hotels were booked except the "Indigo" in downtown Dallas. I expected the worst. Upon arrival, I was very pleased to see this recently remodeled hotel that carefully handled all of the grumpy travelers and put us up for the night. The room was great!! Flat screen TV, plenty of towels, fabulous sitting room area and a very comfortable bed. This hotel is highly recommended, even when not blown into town by a storm. Congrats to the owner and manager of this fine establishment.

“Enjoyed Indigo - bright botique room”

I called their 800 reservation line and they had a two queen room for $129. I wanted a King, but the guy on the phone said none were available. Checked out their website, and was able to get a King nonsmoking for same price.

I had a horrible flight. A 45 minute hopper turned into a 4 hour mess with a unscheduled 2 hour stop in amarillo. So by the time 11PM rolled around, i was very happy to be in the hotel. When I got the into the room, I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was bright. Spring Iris backdropped the room. It was small, but had everything I needed. Included tea for the Senseo-like coffee machine. Love the Aveno products, too.

Very clean, very comfortable. Will definitely stay again if I ever have business in Downtown Dallas.

The shuttle driver was a bit...rude. But glad for the shuttle service.
