staff was friendly, room was clean, but the plumbing was very loud. Even for a heavy sleeper, the plumbing would wake me up during the night. Otherwise very nice. It's not exactly within walking distance of Barefoot Landing.

We have stayed at this hotel two times this past year - once over the summer and just recently in December. This hotel offers free Internet to their guests which we are finding isn't standard in many other hotels (do you hear me Hilton??). The rooms are nice and the staff is really good. The breakfast we great the last time we stayed there (didn't have it over the summer stay). The pool is nice and the jacuzzi is better. Fuddruckers is within walking distance and Barefoot Landing is just down the road. This is a much better place than many in Myrtle Beach.

I have to say that this was the best vacation I have ever taken. Although we could not get an oceanfront hotel, the Courtyard @ Barefoot Landing was wonderful. It was only about a mile from the beach & very easy to get to it. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean upon arrival and cleaned everyday that we requested it. I took some very expenseive belongings with me (although my fiance was afraid they ould be stolen, because that has happened many times) and nothing was ever touched! The housekeeping staff was pleasant and very eager to assist if needed ith whatever questions you had. The lobby & exterior of the hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing. I could NOT have been more pleased with the overall stay of our Courtyard experience. THANKS TO ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS!!

This is a typical Courtyard by Marriott nothing too special. Occasional minor mishaps by staff (shorted towels, shorted blanket) were rectified. This hotel as reported previously while very close to Barefoot Landing is not walking distance due to the high traffic highway (Rt 17). Indoor pool is small but adequate. While this hotel does not seem to see the large amounts of small kid families as the oceanfront hotels, it gets it share. We went down with 2 adults and 2 children and slept okay although the beds were doubles not queens, but there was a pullout sofa in our room which made it easier. We went during the week, mid June and not too busy but the weekends ramped up quite a bit. Staff was very pleasant. Driving on Route 17 can get very busy except early morning. View from the back is of a new condo complex in mid-phase and a partial swamp/bay area.
