We got an amazing rate ($89/night) for a 3 bedroom condo. That being said, I wouldn't want to pay much more for this resort.

At first we were charged for 2 units and took over 2 weeks to get it corrected and credited back! That was with their reservation staff who were slow to respond to e-mails and all calls seemed to make it only to voicemail.

After checking in and finding our way to our condo, the condo was a nice size. 2 bedrooms upstairs, 1 king in the first room and 2 twin in the second, 1 bedroom with a king downstairs. It seemed the housekeeping staff forgot to come back and finish cleaning. There was a broken glass in the sink, a bed half made up, towels not hung up. But at least it was clean.

Bring you cell phone, they charge for all calls (event to contact the main office) and you must post a credit card first. Strange you can't call if something was wrong without being charged.

The furniture was well worn, the chairs in the living room were not at all good. But we did not stay in the room except to sleep. Well, the beds, aren't so good. Hard, lumpy and worn out. You could hear the people in the unit next to us at 6am opening/closing closets, doors, etc. Yikes -- who gets up that early on vacation???

The worst thing was on the last day the maid rang the doorbell at 7:30am asking us if we were leaving. Umm.. yeah at check out at 11am. We stayed out late knowing we could sleep in -- you are to leave "we have left" note on the door they provide. Guess the maid didn't know that. So that was really bad.

I can't judge the pool, the ocean was close and we went there.

The soda machine does not offer diet -- and traveling with a friend who is diabetic that was a surprise. Usually you have at least 1 selection.

Overall I wouldn't pay over 100 a night for this place. I found it used, tired and only worth the 89 we paid (splitting 45 each-- cheap!).

The location is fair -- the unit comes with2 bikes, a washer, dryer, etc. Good I guess if you are planning to stay in HIlton Head for a week or so. But the beds might prevent that much needed rest a vacation is for.
