The Hilton Garden Inn Hilton Head was an excellent experience for me and my family throughout our weeklong stay there last week. The front desk was courteous and went out of there way to please us; our room was large, clean and comfortable, and overall the amenities were first class. We also obtained a better rate than what similar properties were offering on Hilton Head Island...

Several minor negatives were: 1) the hotel's location...it is not actually on Hilton Head island but across the long causeway from it - it takes at least 10-15 minutes to drive to the nearest public beach and that long or longer to get to many of the sites and attractions of the island, particularly with the heavy traffic encountered; 2) the pool was closed the entire time of our stay. The hotel staff said it was closed until summer and that they need to clean it but clearly they could and should have had it open as it was in the mid-70's during our stay (a hot tub was avail) and other hotels had open pools...

Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a quality lodging at good prices.

First-rate customer service from front desk & breakfast staff! Beautiful, well-maintained room & public areas - especially the bright and airy lobby. Best HH property for the money, hands-down.

Got a good deal at this hotel on-line and was quite pleased. Room was clean and well equipped and the underground parking was very convenient. We enjoyed the pool and pool deck and were entertained by the wildlife in the natural area behind the pool. Only compaint and this was not major was that the complimentary (in our case) breakfast was only so-so. We found that the dining area was not as clean as we perhaps would have liked. Overall though, a recommended property.

We had a wonderful time! The room was large and clean. Loved the covered parking, and the pool was nice. We also had a great view from our room. I would love to return and stay there again.
