We booked Jury's Inn Heathrow as a stop over ahead of an early flight the next morning. You can get to the hotel by either the underground, as Hatton Cross Undergound station is close to the hotel (300mts I think).
We chose to take the Hoppa bus at £4 each as it takes you direct to the hotel, this service is every 20 minutes or so. It does say that you should purchase your ticket at the machines but you can purchase from the driver and as there was a bus ready to go, this is what we did.
Just a word of warning regarding the Hoppa Bus, we were going to Terminal 4 for our next morning flight and the Hoppa bus only serves Terminals 1,2, 3. We got a taxi to terminal 4 which cost £12.
Check in at the hotel was swift without any problems, beside the check in area is a restaurant, bar and shop.
The rooms were of a good size, as was the bathroom and was an ideal room for a short stay with all the in room facilities that are needed. There was no noise problems with the room even though Heathrow is such a busy airport.
We had an evening meal in the bar part of the hotel as there was very little difference in the setting in the bar and restaurant except of course for the price, the bar is of course cheaper and having had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning, we made the right choice, I just feel the restaurant area should be that little bit more intimate with better seating but afraid Jury’s restaurant was a little like getting a seat at a local McDonalds. Having said that, while the food selection both for evening meals and breakfast is very basic, there was still a good choice and was very good value.
Summing up, this hotel is an ideal stop over, close to Heathrow, with very pleasant rooms and good on site facilities.
