“Good Airport Hotel”

Jurys Inn Heathrow

4 of 5 stars
Dublin, Ireland
Apr 8, 2008

We booked Jury's Inn Heathrow as a stop over ahead of an early flight the next morning. You can get to the hotel by either the underground, as Hatton Cross Undergound station is close to the hotel (300mts I think).

We chose to take the Hoppa bus at £4 each as it takes you direct to the hotel, this service is every 20 minutes or so. It does say that you should purchase your ticket at the machines but you can purchase from the driver and as there was a bus ready to go, this is what we did.

Just a word of warning regarding the Hoppa Bus, we were going to Terminal 4 for our next morning flight and the Hoppa bus only serves Terminals 1,2, 3. We got a taxi to terminal 4 which cost £12.

Check in at the hotel was swift without any problems, beside the check in area is a restaurant, bar and shop.
The rooms were of a good size, as was the bathroom and was an ideal room for a short stay with all the in room facilities that are needed. There was no noise problems with the room even though Heathrow is such a busy airport.

We had an evening meal in the bar part of the hotel as there was very little difference in the setting in the bar and restaurant except of course for the price, the bar is of course cheaper and having had breakfast in the restaurant the next morning, we made the right choice, I just feel the restaurant area should be that little bit more intimate with better seating but afraid Jury’s restaurant was a little like getting a seat at a local McDonalds. Having said that, while the food selection both for evening meals and breakfast is very basic, there was still a good choice and was very good value.

Summing up, this hotel is an ideal stop over, close to Heathrow, with very pleasant rooms and good on site facilities.

“Fantastic!!”

Jurys Inn Heathrow

Apr 6, 2008

I recently stayed at the Jurys Inn Heathrow for 5 days and was pleasantly surprised, after having read the reviews here.
I took a taxi from the airport and payed 12 pounds, which was well worth it, as I arrived after 10 minutes to the hotel with no hassle.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and check-in was quick and efficient.
The room was sufficiently large and immaculately clean, to my delight, however, the shower was not so good, hardly any water, which was disappointing after a long journey. The bed was nice and big, comfortable to sleep on.

We ate twice at the bar, food there being quite average and overpriced as one could expect, though not too bad all things considered. The included breakfast was well rounded and sufficient, with a nice buffet including everything one could want. We really enjoyed it!!

Internet in the rooms was very, very expensive, 10 pounds a day, considering that many hotels already include Internet in the price of the room, it was disappointing to find this at an additional charge, especially since it wasn't even wireless....

We went to Central London a few times through Hatton Cross which is very close by, only a few minutes walk, which was very convenient, and also to Hounslow for dinner on a few occasions, which was only 8 minutes away by tube. I would recommend that to those who are looking for a quick and easy dinner option!!

Check out was very quick and efficient as well, I ordered a taxi to pick me up in the morning and the chauffeur was already waiting for me when I got down to check out, which was nice!

All in all I found the hotel to be nice and comfortable within its price range, definitely good value for money and I would certainly enjoy staying there again in the future!

“Much better this time around...”

Jurys Inn Heathrow

Our 4th time at this hotel and by far and away the best room we've had. After my last experience (which I posted here last year) we were contacted by the Manager and he kindly reserved a room for us which met our requirements for this trip. It was spacious, clean and the air con/heating worked well.

Reception was welcoming and offered all the information required. We didn't have time to eat at the bar this time so I cannot comment on the food/service. This was a great stay, at a good rate. Faultless!

And I'd particularly like to thank the Manager for his help - he addressed each of my previous complaints and was gracious enough to personally sort out this trip for us - I'm very impressed by someone going to such lengths to ensure that their customers are happy and his management should notice the effort he puts into such customer care. Many thanks - we will continue to use Jury's Heathrow.

“Clean Airport Hotel”

Jurys Inn Heathrow

4 of 5 stars
San Francisco

This is a very good hotel for an overnight. I took the hoppa bus, waited 40 minutes outside the arrival terminal, for the bus that runs every 45 minutes. When I arrived at the front desk the first thing I did, was ask for the bus schedule for the morning trip back to the airport!
I made my reservation directly with the hotel, via email.
The front desk staff were helpful and friendly.
My room was very clean with a double bed and a single bed. The bath room had a full bath, it was also very clean. I looked out of my window, across the street, I saw an open field, with shetland ponies!! What a wonderful sight for an airport hotel. The restaurant doesn't open until 6:30, no worries, the bar is open with food.
I went to the bar, located off the lobby. It is a modern bar as well as a comfortable place to sit, being a woman alone, some bars aren't so. I ordered a drink and dinner.
The hotel elevators need your room key to operate, a nice safety feature.
There are many airline crew members who also stay here. Since the hotel doesn't have room service, I noticed a few of them ordering food at the bar and taking it to their room on a tray.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Jury's Inn Heathrow on my next overnight between flights. Check prices....I found the best to be on the Jury's Inn website.

“Excellent airport hotel”

Jurys Inn Heathrow

5 of 5 stars
Jersey, Channel Islands

Jurys Inn Heathrow is an excellent airport hotel. It is particularly useful if you want to go into London for the day as Hatton Cross is directly on the tube line to central London. The tube was closed for maintenance on the Sunday we were there so we had to use the Heathrow Express at no additional cost. (£7.50 for a day travel card!) . This was not so convenient as it meant going back to the airport to pick up the train so next time we will try to stick to the tube only. Make sure you go the right way when exiting the tube at Hatton Cross, the signs to the hotel are not very clear and we had to ask ,but once you are heading in the right direction it is a 5 minute walk along the pavement. The hotel is modern with a nice entrance area and bar/coffee lounge. It is light and spacious and the staff were very helpful. Bedrooms are good and again, modern and clean. We asked for a king size bed and were given just that. The Hotel Assistant Manager, Andy ,was extremely helpful when we contacted him and we really appreciated his prompt and efficient service. We booked a taxi next morning as our flight was early and it cost £11 to Terminal 2. The taxi, booked by the hotel was prompt it only took 10 minutes to the door of departures. My only complaint is about Heathrow itself, avoid it like the plague if you can - but that is something the hotel can't do anything about nor can passengers as there is often little alternative. We will certainly use Jurys Inn Heathrow on our next flight from Heathrow!
