Summed up: crap.
My wife and I expected a real seafood eatery with lobster tails, calamari etc. None of that here. The place has the illusion that it might actually be such an establishment that serves a variety of seafood (looking at it from the outside, you'd think you're stepping inside such a place) however, when you sit down, a very limited menu stares back at you. Only one or two types of fish here with shrimp, crab and oyster served fried and in small portions, very much like fast food. (They offer burgers out of oysters, shrimp..etc) All very fixed and all too typical. The condiments on the table look like something you'd find at a hot dog stand. As a matter of fact, I would venture to say that this place is just that, a greasy fast (sea)food joint. Not exactly a novel idea if you ask me.
We were very turned off by the limited menu however because we were hungry and with our newborn son, we decided to stay and munch on their appetizers to kill the hunger. We ordered a "combo sampler", for 8 dollars and received hardly anything (2 little chicken strips, 2 crabcrakes and 4 tiny burnt potatoe skins). My wife indured eating the potatoe skins while I looked forward to trying out crabcakes which are usually generically good wherever you go. Well, it tasted terrible and had the texture of a pancake. I'm guessing it was prepackaged and warmed up in the kitchen. Come to think about it, between the broccoli soup and this combo sampler my wife and I had, I can say that if you want to come here, expect food that tastes like yesterday's leftovers.
I'm not one to complain about food, truly, but this place was just so bad I tell to other people about it.
