Phat Burrito, located in Charlotte's historic Southend, is an extremely laid back hole-in-the-wall burrito joint. It doesn't have a Mexican vibe at all, more of a California surfer feel. The place is tiny and old, but in a charming way. There is more seating outside than in, and you have a great view of the passing trolley and light rail trains. The burrito is around 9 dollars, but is the largest (or fattest?) that I can remember having. All the ingredients taste very fresh, and there is a small, fresh salsa bar available. I look forward to my next visit.
