While trying to find a hotel to accomodate 12 people to attend my son'scollege graduation from SUNY Cortland, I stumbled upon the website for Skaneateles Hotel and Suites. What a find, an absolute wonderful property owned and managed by Curt. He and his staff were extremely helpful in making my son's graduation a truly memorable event. From my first contact with Curt to explain my options, to several cell phone calls to his staff for directions while we were driving, to an absolute fabulous accomodation and impeccable service. Curt suggested the main house which accomodated 8 of us and a bungalow which accomodated 4 more. Both units were extremely well appointed with ALL amenities and comforts. the staff was overly anxious to help with any concerns we had and Curt( the owner) checked with us several times during our stay to be sure everything was satisfactory. The property was impeccable( Curt was cutting the grass on his tractor), the main house was much more than I could have wanted from all modern applainces, new furniture, master bedroom honeymoon suite ,cathdral ceiling , 2 decks ,plenty of comfotable sitting area and breakfast buns coffee orange juice all included! The bungaloo was just as impeccable and well equiped with all amenities and also newly renovated. The location of the property is about 2 minutes to beautiful Lake Skaneateles, an absolute lovely NY Finger Lake town. Our stay at SkaneatelesSuites was to short to enjoy all it had to offer; however we will be back soon! An absolute delight and well worth the value. Make a point to visit Curt and his wonderful staff at Skaneateles Hotel and Suites!

I found out about the Skaneateles Suites by doing a Google search on the internet and called to make reservations for an overnight stay. I was traveling through town arriving on Friday evening and would be on the road by 5am the next morning.

The reservations desk was great to deal with. As they cover a couple of properties, they assured me that it they were not available when I arrived they would have the key available outside the office so that I could just let myself in.

What I expected was a room. What I got was a mini-apartment in my own building with a kitchenett, large bedroom with TV and radio access, overstuffed chairs with a table and very comfortable reading lamp, sliding doors to an outside patio (with furniture) and valted ceiling. The kitchenett had coffee, tea, oatmeal, juice, soda pop, and water all as part of the room charge. There were real plates and stainless silverware should I bring food into the room. There was also a water-jet tub in the bathroom.

Being a woman traveling alone I am sometimes very uncomfortable in the hotel/motel that I end up in. This facility, however, felt very much like home.

I would highly recommend this facility for its amenities, security and because it was less than 1 mile from town where there were many things to see and do.

The Skaneateles Suites provided the perfect setting for a Spring get-away.
Close to home - for gas economy.
Close to so many and varied attractions that would otherwise be missed in going to faraway places..
Spacious, bright, clean cottage, set on a peaceful site just outside of the Village of Skaneateles, NY.
This was the perfect antidote to the end-of-a-long-Winter blahs.

We went to Ithaca and decide to see the Finger Lakes area. The internet was helpful and we found the internet specials for last minute availability at the Suites. Well that was in California and we were in NY. We called them explained the situation and they honored the special rates. When we got to the suites we were in Aaahhhh. The bungalows are really a 10! Everything was storybook perfect.
