If you have kids then this place is not appropriate. There was nudity in some of the exhibits, which I found very graphic. I thought I would see paintings from artist who are known and some unknown artist but this museum only has exhibits of artist who are unknown. I would much rather have spent my money in the original MOMA in the city.

Hello, you have surely anough info on the moma, but do not forget to go also to the excellent annex, called PS1, 2 metrostations away, free with the ticket.
For the moma, I recommend to buy it with the citypass, it comes cheaper, and you can ride also for example the "beast", a fantastic boat ride...
PS: the PS1 is great for art interested people, but do not by shy, if you are prude or easily ashamed by nudes, violent scenes etc... do check the current program before.
