My family and I stayed in this hotel during a long touring holiday in July 2005. For a budget hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the rooms, which were spacious with 2 double beds in each. Usual amenities associated with American hotels i.e. Air Con, Ice and Vending Machines in the corridors, decent sized beds and TVs, etc. A buffet breakfast is included in the price, that consists of "make your own" waffles, microwaveable sausage and eggs, toast, bagels and muffins. The hotel is located on the edge of a large car park with shops on the other side. There is an Applebees and Friendly's restaurants close by with decent food in large portions at reasonable prices. Dowtown Ithaca is a 10 minute drive away, on street parking is busy and metered but you should find a spot within easy walking distance of the main street. You can also drive your car up the hill to visit Cornell University and the very scenic Buttermilk Falls is a short drive out of town, parking at the falls is free after 6 p.m.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on 7/9. The hotel is a bit outside of Ithaca - not near the downtown at all. It is located in a small shopping center with a supermarket and fast food restaurants. Across the street is a mall with a few large stores, Borders, Dicks Sporting Goods, etc. The staff was friendly and pleasant. This is a decent and clean hotel - nothing fancy. The hotels in the Ithaca area in general seem to be priced higher than usual. The rooms were somewhat small and there was no doored closet, so the room had an ironing board hanging on the wall and a clothing rack. The bathroom sink surround was just uncoated plywood. Our room also included a microwave and refridgerator. Breakfast was quite nice and included in the room price. In addition to the usual danish,muffins and toast they also provided frozen omelets and sausage (which could be heated up in the microwave) and fresh waffles. The waffle mix and waffle maker were provided. You just make them yourself. The waffles were very good and were very popular. As we were eating at peak time there was no seating available (They only have about 4 small tables) but they also had 2 wooden structures outside where you could eat.

The hotel was well maintained and staff was very helpful. For a budget hotel they had many great amenities, including an excellant breakfast with waffles! We will return here everytime we visit Ithaca.

I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. It was clean and modern. The price was below most of the other hotels in the Ithaca area. Our room was clean. My husband thought the mattress left something to be desired but I found it comfortable. The bathroom was small. They had a continental breakfast with waffles, cereal, bagels, etc. The basics you find most places. The eating area was very small. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. It is directly across from the Pyramid Mall and an Applebee's and right next to a Pizza Hut. The area itself seems to be a little older, but it seemed ok.
