“Terrific B&B Inn”

My wife and I concur 100% with the sentiments of the other guests who have submitted reviews. We can not really add anything not already said about this wonderful B&B except to offer a comment about the innkeepers. To be successful any B&B has to offer great breakfasts and service in appealing surroundings but what really makes the William Henry Miller Inn outstanding are the personalities of the innkeepers, Lynette and David. They are very talented and interesting people with a knack for running a quality establishment. It was not surprising that in response to a query Lynette said that they are full every day of the year. Staying at the William Henry Miller Inn is a very worthwhile experience. P.S. I offer one helpful hint concerning the lighting in the bathrooms. Incorporated into the same slot holding the regular on/off light switch and immediately next to it (on the right side of the on/off switch in our bathroom)is a very small square knob which slides up and down and is a dimmer switch. Lynette forgot to mention the dimmer switch and since it is very small and not obvious we did not realize it was there until we asked how to make the lighting brighter.

We have stayed @ the Miller Inn 6 times in the past 3 years. Service is always excellent and the evening dessert are wonderful. Lynnette makes everyone feel as though they are the only guests. We have met people from all over the world @ the Inn. We recommend a stay for anyone who wants a great experience. We will keep coming back until we stay in all of the rooms.

“Fantastic experience!”

My husband and I recently returned from a 2 night weekend stay at the
William Henry Miller Inn for our 1st wedding anniversary. Overall, the experience was fantastic! We stayed in "the retreat" room on the third floor and while in our room at night the house was so quiet it felt like we were the only ones there even though the inn was full. The inn is within blocks of most restaurants and shops in downtown Ithaca. The innkeeper, Lynnette, was a sweetheart and truly wanted to
meet our every need! She suggested restaruants and provided directions to all nearby activities which was extremely helpful!
Breakfast each morning was wonderful with 2 courses and 2 choices for your gourmet breakfast. Coffee and tea were always available along with homemade treats (yum!).

I would absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast and we hope to return again soon!

We just look a week's vacation that included 3 nights at the William Henry Miller Inn. We had a comfortable, spacious room. We slept very peacefully. The inn has a location that must be the envy of all the other inns in Ithaca. You can walk to everything. Innkeepers Lynnette & Dave and the staff sent us to some great restaurants. We saw waterfalls and visited some very nice wineries around Seneca Lake. My only regret is we did not squeeze in a meal at the Moosewood. I cannot say enough about the breakfasts--best on this trip BY FAR and some of the best we've had anywhere. Everything was so perfectly cooked--nothing under or overdone at all. Nicely presented, too. Lynnette and Dave put out this over-the-top dessert buffet each evening with several choices. Wow. Lots of nice touches and amenities. I loved all the inn's woodwork and stained glass. It was the only place on our trip where the WiFi was free, unbelievably. And we really enjoyed breakfast and people watching from the front porch.

We stayed here in May for our anniversary vacation courtesy of my brother. My husband and I had stayed here previously with 2 other couples and were quite pleased. This time was no different. We stayed in "The Sanctuary" room, which had a two person jacuzzi, last time we stayed in "The Library". The house is done up with wonderful antiques, and Lynnette makes sure that everything is just how you'd like it to be. The breakfasts are wonderful, and the evening "snacks" are more than just cookies and coffee; they put out a nice assortment of sweets to tempt you. If you need recommendations, they can fill you in on all kinds of things, or if you want to be left alone, that's fine too. It's a beautiful old house, service is excellent, food is delicious-what more could you want in a bed and breakfast?
