Stayed at the Sheraton LaGuardia on 12 May w/ my family as we were departing out of LaGuardia on 13 May. Starwoods member and we used points for a free room. Arrived a bit early - 11 AM and our room was not ready until 1, so we dropped off our luggage and walked around the area until we found a dim sum restaurant for a light lunch. Parked car in hotel garage under the hotel. Came back from lunch and our room was ready. Room was typical and located on their club floor so we had access to continental breakfast and evening snacks. Bellman brought up our luggage promptly and we unpacked for the night. For dinner we walked around the area - which is a mini Chinatown, with jewelry shops, resturants, etc. Brought back some takeout for the kids.

Room was standard two full-size beds. Furniture in good shape, everything looked updated. No special amenities otherwise.

Checked ou the next morning and we were about 15 minutes drive time to the airport. Very convenient and will stay here again if we leave out of LaGuardia. In fact, we may leave out of LaGuardia more often given this facility.

This Sheraton is a quite departure from the usual Sheraton standard.
Located right in the middle of the Flushing Chinatown, the operator decided to have the Chinese theme for the hotel. The room have that nice dark oriental look completed with Chinese wooden boxes that you can use for coffee table.

The sweet sleeper bed is a close second to the Westin bed but in some
of the rooms, the bed started to show its age. The amenities are the standard Sheraton stuff: Pantene shampoo and conditioner with Vaseline lotion. A desk with free Internet is nice for those who stayed over for business.

The executive lounge is small and cozy with various drinks and pastries in the afternoon and evenings. It seems quite empty for the times that I was there. If you are an Asian food lover, you are in heaven. To get into Manhattan, a 20 minutes on the subway 2 blocks from the hotel will get you there quickly. There is an airport shuttle bus that you can call and it will come to pick you up.

The price is excellent comparing to the hotels inside Manhattan. This
is my favorite NY hotel.

Stayed one night for first time in this hotel. Never been to Flushing before, although I have been to China several times. I could almost believe I was in China standing in the doorway of the hotel or walking up and down the nearby streets. I did order in some excellent Chinese food. Hotel room was quiet. I stayed on upper floor with access to club lounge which has some basic food and comfortable room. Bedrooms were typical good quality Sheraton. Front desk personnel were friendly. Will probably stay here again if at LGA or even JFK as I am Platinum Starwood member.

I arrived for a 1 night stay before midday thus had to wait a couple of hours to be checked in.
Free shuttle to and from LGA was excellent - it took 15 mins max and starts running at 4h30.
I paid USD150 using CAA/AAA.
Was upgraded to a high floor room as I am Starwood Gold. Also given access to Exec Floor but did not use it.
Room was a good size, bathroom small and ordinary. 2 free bottles of water was a nice touch.
Subway 2 blocks away for an approx 25 min ride to Times Square.
The area surrounding the hotel is Asian. Expect alot of foot traffic and the usual Chinese type stores, restaurants. Area is safe - no problems walking around after midnight.
I would stay again unless something cheaper could be found in the LGA area.
