After planning a trip to Cooperstown on our way to Boston we made a last minute decision to stay here for the night. The price was right, and even though it was a 10-minute drive from Cooperstown we loved that it was on the lake.
Our room was very large, and featured a balcony that overlooked the lake and the little breakfast lodge. We booked a room with two full beds on accident- but it still worked out ok. My only complaint is that the beds were EXTREMELY hard. They should definitely invest in some nicer matresses. Aside from that, the room looked as though it had recently been remodeled, the carpet was new, the furniture was dent-free, and everything was very clean.
There were two pools and a hot tub which we did not use, but everything looked great, especially for families.
Breakfast was your usual continental breakfast, featuring cereals, juices, bagels, doughnuts, etc. Again, for the rate we paid per night I can't complain about a nice breakfast for free in the morning!
Overall, we would return and stay here again. Staying at a b&b in Cooperstown is more our style, but we liked how secluded the hotel was and the drive into town really wasn't far.
Stay here for a great value!
