We stayed in Cooperstown for 2 nights to attend a wedding. A friend of the bride was gracious enough to assist us in finding accomodations at The Jones House. In this day and age, it never dawned on me that a $140 per night room would not have air conditioning. Imagine my surprise, discovering this on a 90 degree, humid August day! This would be a lovely place to stay any other time of year, however, our hot room was unbearable and expensive. Had the opera not been in town, I would have high-tailed to another facility, but it was hard enough to come by this place when I booked in in February.
The breakfast was incredible, and the company pleasant, but we found no comfort or relief in this B&B.
