This is supposed to be a quaint place to have lunch, pick some fruit, and see a petting "zoo". We felt we wasted the whole day. The young staff was rude and rowdy - putting the food away before serving was supposed to be over and grabbing plates and cups off our table without even asking if we were done.

The petting "zoo" only had a few sheep and the staff told us there was not petting "zoo"!

The plastic tables and chairs inside were dirty and there were lots of flies.

The main purpose seemed to be the store - which sold commercial stuff - not true farm/homemade items.

I e-mailed the owner about the above complaints and I received a very hostile reponse letting me know how she will back up her staff anytime over a "rotten" customer. She also chided me for writing an e-mail instead of "confronting" them directly when we were there. Sorry - that is something we do not do, unless safety is the issue!!

For families - a much better experience is to be had at Iron Kettle farm in Candor, NY - they don't offer fruit picking - but we had a nice time there and the staff was friendly.
