I travel extensivly on buisness, and I book the rooms that i book, because this is what i want. I booked a reservation for this hotel, through Expedia.com. I have NEVER had a problem with expedia, and have used them on 80 or so itineraries over the last year and a half. I booked a Smoking, King.....easy enough, and the hotel said that they were available, at the time of booking. I also pre paid in full with CC. When i arrived, the front desk checked me in, and didnt say anything. I got to my nasty room, and found that they had put me in a 2 double bed room. I went to the desk to change rooms, and was told that a 2-double is the same price as a king, but no king rooms are available. I am a big gentlemen and do not sleep well in a double bed. I was argued with and told that the beds in the rooms are queen sized.....I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DOUBLE AND A QUEEN!!!! I booked and pre paid for a king room, and was told at the time of booking, it would be available. They argued, and said it was Expedia.com's fault. Also, the rooms may have new "wallpaper", but everything else is downright NASTY!!!
