I'm no Holy Roley but have been known to visit a church or two on our vacations.
On our last trip to Virginia City last October, my wife and I decided to step inside just to light a candle and say a little prayer for the people far worst off then us after Katrina.
The feeling was strange to say the least. It was like no other feeling in any other church. Like someone greater then us was actually listening to our prayers.
The church is in need of repairs from age and the elements, but the craftsmanship and mill work is unbelievable. We've put it on our list of people/places to help.
It's well worth the trip to get there. We plan on going there often and we're over 2200 miles away.
