I read a few reviews from Trip Advisor and thought I would give Super 8 sparks nv a try. It was $84.99 per night (not including tax) for a fri,sat night stay.You cant expect a whole lot. The positve was it was duable!! It was clean for the most part I just needed a place for two nights while in town for Reno. The negative I thought was the carpet looked 1980's with furniture. Smoke from others could come in through AC unit. I probably would stay at Fairfied Sparks next time due to the high rating from others.
P.S. I have found to be better (cheaper)to book online directly with hotel website , but make sure you check the discount sies to compare first.

Stayed on the strip in las vegas for 3 days, drove to sparks/reno
and decided to stay here. I have never been treated so well by everyone! Easy as pie, clean, comfortable, great prices, great food, served in a cast iron skillet, great employees. We were absolutely catered too! As for the casino area, friendly, efficient and thoughtful. the slots are great! Won enough to pay for my whole trip! Am planning another stay this year! Sending some of the employees thank you cards. Downtown Reno was dirty, confusing, rude and unmanaged. Las Vegas strip was overly priced, the employess were robots. Never again.

I've stayed at a couple Super 8 hotels in the last few years, and this is one of the best. Just be aware, this is a hotel geared mainly for truckers and therefor, things such as limits between smoking and non and things of this nature aren't at the top of their priorities. Also remember that you are in Nevada, so any of the "activities," that surround the state and casinos can be expected. Myself, being a professional truck driver, I was pleased with the hotel. I stayed in it for one night and it gave me a chance to relax away from my truck.

Again, we were in a non smoking room, which was next to several smoking rooms. When we turned on the bathroom fan, it sucked in smokey air from the hallway. Relatively clean. No breakfast, so for the $, wasn't a good deal at all. Value: not in line with what you receive ($71 for no breakfast). It was quiet, on the 3rd floor (request this). Small bathroom, with very little counter space. Towels were dingy. Glass and trash were all over parking lot. Comfortable bed, but dirty pillowcase with makeup on it. Check in was horribly slow. It took over 30 minutes for us to check in. Would not stay at Super 8 again.
