My at the time fiance now husband stayed at the Silver Club on October 14 and the 15 it was cheap and the rooms were nice for the amount of money we spent , I actually have no complaints about the rooms it was just the people at the front desk , they were very rude to the customers and there was a disabled lady in a wheel chair who's room did not meet her disabled needs , she was treated very poorly when asking for a refund , her and her elderly husband were escorted out by security . Other then thier poor customer service the hotel was nice I would suggest this place if you dont care about how you are being treated and you just want a cheap room.

My husband and I just stayed at the Silver Club as part of a group. The hotel is located in a separate building, across the street from the casino. The lobby is small with minimal furniture, and smelled of cigarette smoke, as did the elevators. We were pleasantly surprised, then, by our non-smoking room (on the sixth floor), which was was clean, comfortable, and smelled just fine. The bathroom was also clean, with minimal amenities (packets of lotion, shampoo in a shower dispenser), no hairdryer. There is no in-room coffeemaker, though there's free coffee each morning in the lobby. The room was generally quiet, though the air conditioner was somewhat noisy. Our only complaint was that the drapes did little to block the morning sunlight. There's a pleasant restaurant with good, inexpensive breakfast specials located in the casino. All in all, not a bad place to stay if you'd like to be a few miles away (but an easy bus ride) from the downtown Reno hustle.

“The absolute worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Silver Club Hotel Casino

I had read the previous reviews on this hotel, but had no idea that it would be as terrible as it was. We were on the first floor. We had to move from the first room they gave us because it smelled so bad. I swear it smelled like somebody had died in there, along with the smell of mold and other things we couldn't identify. So they moved us to the room next door which was almost as bad. Then they said no other rooms were available, so we were stuck with it. We slept on top of beds with our jackets on - no way was I going to get between the sheets!! Unfortunately it was Labor Day weekend, and we couldn't find another room anywhere. Stay away from this dump!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed here one night ,7/29 with our bingo bus group. This was the most dirty disgusting room I have ever stayed in. It was on the 6th floor (where they put all of us) and looked nothing like it did on their website. Everyone on our bus was also disappointed in their rooms, and called it a "dive". The carpet was so dirty that my mom and I never took our shoes off. The faucet was coming off the sink, and the ceiling had water damage. The room also gave me severe allergies, which I rarely ever have. The room looked like it hadn't been renovated since the place opened. Thank goodness I was only here for one night. The hallway noise wasn't a problem for me because I took a sleeping pill (I read the other reviews before leaving). We had a terrible room at the Reno Hilton also, so I'm wondering if these hotel/motels just give the bus tour groups the crummy rooms??? Their dinner buffet was horrible, too! I took a bread roll and noticed it had mold spots on it (yuck). It reminded me of the Fitzgerald buffet. The cafe downstairs was good though, and had a nice $2.99 breakfast. The slots were good to me, and the casino was clean, so no complaints there. I just won't be staying at the motel ever again.

We have stayed many times at this hotel and we have never had any problems, i have enjoyed each and every stay....The rooms are clean, service is great, and the food is good....The casino may not be attached but that is ok, as you do not have all the smoke and noise of the people gambling....I make about 5 trips a year to Reno, last trip there was 5 of us and i told them about the hotel and that is where we stayed for 3 days, the other people enjoyed it too and really liked the price of the rooms................Thank you for everything.....
