This place was great! The rooms are big with refrigerators and nice balconies/patios that overlook the beautiful courtyard grounds. Also, something very rare these days, the rooms are spotless. Finally a hotel with a good housekeeping service. We saw the manger spot checking rooms after the cleaning service was finished.

The staff is super friendly and very responsive to every problem. We accidentally left our credit card at the front desk when checking in and before we could even call they were on their way bringing it up. Basically, this place is run and kept like a hotel should be. Very clean, very friendly and "old-fashioned" service.

The restaurant was excellent - we used our $3 coupons for breakfast both mornings and it is great home cooking.

The only one minor improvement that should be made is that it took a really long time to check in because the employee was a little to chatty about her personal life and it took way too long to check out. But, all in all, this place is great and I will stay there again.

We have stayed at QUALITY INN SOUTH, formerly BEST INN AND SUITES, several times during the past several years. This is our choice for a moderately priced, yet fully adequate motel in Reno. The staff is very helpful.. The rooms are clean and more than satisfactory. However, the air conditioning could use some help... in the summer months. We like the upstairs rooms which have a private balcony big enough for 6 people.. or more. Book early for King size beds.. as these are limited. Included with the room is a discount on your breakfast at the in house Restaurant!! Good location close to everything.

I would never stay at this motel again. While I was staying there we got our license plates stole off our car and a car near us got its car window busted out. The hotel did not even offer to call the police or do anything about it. Also while I was there, the lights went off for a couple of hours one morning. So you were stuck in the dark and had to open your door or blinds. I would definitely not recommend anyone staying here because it doesnt seem like the safest motel and the hotel staff didn't seem to care either.

We just got back fom Reno on 11/16/03. We were booked at the Atlantis Motor Lodge, spent one night there and hated it.

We spent an hour driving around Reno looking for a place to stay for another 3 nights and luckily found the Quality Inn on the corner of South Virginia and Plumb.

The rooms were very clean and quite large. The property is beautifully landscapped. The owners were very helpful. The weekend rates were very reasonable. The parking was easy & very near our room. It was close to all the casinos and yet far enough away to be quiet & smoke-free. There is a small fridge & coffee pot in each room and you're given a $3.00 coupon per person/per day towards breakfast. We will definetly stay here on our future trips to Reno !!!!
