I have been to las vegas several times over the last 10 years and I have to say that the first time I went to Viva Zapatas was one of my best experience. Now whenever my family and I go to Vegas we have to eat here at least once during our stay. The food is delicious especially "Pollo Sarandeado" yum, the service is exceptional and the atmosphere wonderful. All in all is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants and that's not easy to say being Mexican myself and knowing what true mexican cuisine is.

We go weekly to Viva Zapatas and are constantly amazed at the authentic Mexican cuisine. The Chili Rellenos are by far the best we've every had. On site home made tortillas, the bean dip with salsa, and the margaritas are excellent. On top of the great food, the outstanding and humble service with authentic ambience. Easy to overeat because it's difficult to stop once you've started! Very reasonable prices and good location right off Highway 15. Coming from a chef myself, I highly recommend a stop at Viva Zapatas. Lines can grow on weekends, so get there early.

wow fantastic sit down comfortable restaurant. Great for a date! hubby and I went for lunch n a weekday and we were amazed. we had full plate meals I had Carnitas he had Chile Colorado and for less that $20!!!! They have great lunch specials. Seems they cater to the local employes and you find a mix of truck drivers, construction workers, office people and everyone else too! They keep the chips and salsa full and you drinks are never more than half empty. seems lunch specials are a great deal but peeking at dinner made my mouth water. My husband and got out for less than $25 which included a bill for $18.85 and a $6 tip. Wow!! try it definitely worth it!!
