We just returned from our third stay at Treasure Island. The other two times were excellent, but this time we had a couple of problems. At check-in we asked if there were any upgrades and were told that we already had a good room and didn't need one!?? Our Tower Deluxe room was just an average room with a strip view from the back side of the hotel. We also overlooked the pool (Flamingo has a much better pool area) and a couple of parking garage tops. We had the ice machine across the hall from our room, and it clunked loudly in the night.

On the positive side, Bernie in the Isla Bar made us feel very welcome at TI with attentive service, the parking valets were prompt and very nice, and the room was left in very neat, clean condition every day.

It will take a really good deal for us to stay at TI again.

Check-in was quick, Baggage delivery system to room was efficient. Had Petite Suite and room was OK. In room refrigerator was weak. No fan in bath. Pool area was better than I expected based on some of the reviews I had read.
Now the bad part. Casino Personnel have bad attitude overall. Overall I would say they are not happy campers. High Minimums on Tables. The drinks are weak and overpriced. The buffet was closed and there always seemed to be a line to the cafe. It would be nice if the rooms had a coffee maker. If you ordered only coffee thru room service it would cost
about $16 with a tip. Otherwise you go downstairs and get on line. Burger I ordered came bare. They showed up with the lettuce tomato and onions about 10 minutes later. I had it for dessert. I wouldn't stay there again unless it was free. The sirens show is retarded.
The place should be imploded during the sirens show and the rubble buried deep underground to prevent future bad Karma.

Stayed at TI July 11-13th. Arrived at the hotel at 9am so we went right to the pool and stored our bags. I checked in at 11am. The line was very long but extremely fast which was great. The rooms were very clean and the view of the strip from our room was great. Unfortunantly, all the shows we were seeing while in town were at the end of the strip ($10-$12) taxi ride so the center of the strip location for us was not the greatest but it was nice being so close to many other hotels. Only negetive thing about our stay was while gambling at the machines it was extremely hard to find a cocktail waitress. Once we did and got a drink we never saw her again. They told us many people called in sick but we didn't care we just wanted some drinks! Thought the pool would be bigger than it was but I was very impressed that we only paid $1 for bottled water. Room service was quick and came in 30 minutes and was very good. All and all a great stay and we enjoyed it very much.

“An average review of an average resort”

We stayed at TI over the 4th of July. Knowing that our plane arrived early, we reserved a cabana at the pool for $175, but were very disapointed...the misters are off, there wasn't a control for the tv, and the fan was in the reverse position which pulled the 105 degree air up. The pool was one you might find at any apartment complex...what a let-down. We asked for an upgrade on our room and for $25 more a night were given what was called a mini suite...actually a standard room with two windows because it was at the end of the hall. If you join the slot club, you will earn 1 point for every $1.50 spent...enjoy your free buffet after loosing hundreds. Overall, attempts at revamping the resort are falling short...spend a little more at Mandalay Bay or one of the newer properties.

“Disappointed with Sirens of TI/pirate show”

My husband and I made a point to go see the new pirate show at Treasure Island. We had seen the old one and loved it. The new Siren show was a disappointment from the first moment. We got there a 1/2 hour early and got crammed on the sidewalk with a thousand other people and ended up having limited visibility because of the the posts on the pretend dock. The Sirens are showgirls that come out and dance to entice the male pirates to their side so they can win the battle. I know that Las Vegas is making an attempt to be more adult and they are deliberately are removing the family elements. I felt this show inappropriate for small children when it is done on the sidewalk. In the old version it was a believable rendition of a pirate fight. The fireworks were not as good and I felt it was kind of hokey. TI falls flat on their face with this show.
