WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!! This was my very first time in Vegas and I was ready for it to be an unforgettable experience, and believe me I will never forget the stay. I'm 34 years old and I have never experienced the kind of occurence that happened at this hotel. When I arrived, the first room I received was a disabled rm which would have been okay if I there was enough space in the bathroom to arrange my things, since I was staying for 3 days and water kept getting on the floor since there was no tub only a walk in shower made to be wheel chair accessible. The toilet kept getting stopped up and wouldn't flush. I was moved out of this room into a new room, so that was fine. Oh,but it gets better!!!!! The whole trip I was there I didn't receive maid service...by Choice. On Sunday, the maid came in the room without even a knock on the door, but when she saw my boyfriend laying in the front room, she quickly said maid service. We choose again not to get it, except for some towels. We left our room and decided to put a Do not disturb sign on the door, so they would't clean the room. The only person that knew we were leaving was the maid cleaning the next room. Needless to say when we came back for the Strip, our room had been broken into, and all our personal belongings where taken.....suitcase, make-up bag, videocamera, mp-3 player....EVERYTHING!!!!!! I went back home with nothing but the clothes on my back and plastic bag from the Bellagio and a M&M factory bag. This was 12 am and our flight was leaving at 6 am. I talked to the security guard and contacted the police....of course this stuff will never be seen. According to them we were the only room to get robbed. I wouldn't not stay in this place again if they paid me to. This is a timeshare...I guess share means share with everyone. If you decide to stay at this resort. PLEASE don't stay on the first floor, cause this is how they got out of our room. The first floor set up is ridiculous. Anyone can jump into the patio from off the street if they wanted to, since we were facing the street. I guess it doesn't concern the general management or they don't want this type of stuff to leak since they are trying to sell people on the timeshare, cause I haven't received a call from them yet and one would think that that would be the first thing they would do after such occurences. I guess what happens in Vegas really does stay in Vegas.

The management at the Desert Rose resort thanks your for your comments and feedback. It is unfortunate this situation happened while you were staying at our resort. Las Vegas as a whole is not unfamiliar with situations such as this. Our security department strives to safeguard the resort, our guests and their property. A full investigation is being conducted on this situation.
While it is true that several of our units on the ground floor do have patios that face the street, the patio doors in all of our units are equipped with multiple locking devices.
