“Cheap but It Shows”

The hotel was very reasonably priced; however, there was this random $5.00 service fee for mystery services. The room had NO ammenities - no coffee pot, no hair dryer, etc. The beds were small and uncomfortable with nasty smelling sheets and bedspreads. The bathrom was gross - sticky, stained tile floor with a nasty tub.

We ate dinner at the "international" buffet, and I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. It was very bland across all the cuisines, and my 12 year old ate a slice of pizza and had to pay the adult price (11.00) for the buffet. No deals there for sure!!

The resort was close to Las Vegas and cheap, which makes these drawbacks somewhat more tolerable. However, I think you could find a cheap room in this area with better rooms and food considering the obvious fact that most of the profit in the Las Vegas area must come from the gamblers!

Good location, clean rooms, courteous helpful staff, and great inexpensive food.
A few things we didn't like:
1. Noise between the rooms
2. Being charged for everything (maid services, WII-FI, and very high taxes).
3. We came back to our room and the door was not locked (maid didn’t fully close the door).
4. Shower heads are very low
5. Main pool is very cold

“Great Casino – Hotel Not so Much”

Fiesta Henderson

2 of 5 stars

We stayed one night at the Fiesta Henderson last month. After reading the other reviews we were somewhat reluctant to stay there, especially as the rooms are priced fairly cheap ($40 during the week and $110 or so on the weekends). But we decided to give it a try as it was last minute trip and rooms were hard to come by. Overall we found that we still like the casino, but were glad to have only stayed for one night and will not stay there again.

Front desk. Although there was no line, check-in still took over 20 minutes with the clerk spending a lot of time working on the computer (maybe he was playing video poker on it?)

Rooms. We had a run-of-the-mill room on the 2nd floor and found it to be very old and sorely needing updating, it was pretty much like a Motel 6 room. The bathrooms were the same and, as other reviewers have mentioned, the shower head is uncomfortably low.

Casino. We tend to gravitate towards the penny machines and found them to pay fairly well: no big wins, but no big losses. Cocktail service was great and the overall atmosphere of the casino was a lot of fun with good drink specials also available at the bar.

Food. For dinner we tried the Mexican restaurant Amigos and found the service to be OK, but the food to be very bland (Taco Bell would have been better) – we advise skipping it as Vegas offers a ton of good Mexican restaurants. For breakfast we ate in the coffee shop, Baja Beach Café and had the special (2 pancakes, 2 bacon, 2 eggs for about $3) it was quite good as the service was as well, definitely recommend it!

Location. Being just off the highway in Henderson means that is a place you want to have a rental car!

Bottom line: a good casino to visit, but if you’re looking for cheap rooms off the Strip, check out Sam’s Town or Boulder Station instead.

“Fantastic value”

I was starting a road trip through Nevada beginning in Las Vegas, and wanted an inexpensive place to stay after a late night arrival. The reviews for the Fiesta were good, but I was leery because the room rates were so low. I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was new, very large and clean. Similar rooms on the Strip would be three times as much or more. The excellent, huge breakfast was almost free. Like staying in Vegas many years ago. I can very strongly recommend this hotel, although it's not in a particularly convenient location in the Vegas area. (It's near a freeway exit for easy access, though.)

“Great casino”

I didn't stay here but wanted to say, my mom and I loved this casino.

We had a rental car so we were able to wander to different casinos. This was a really fun place for us. We went back again in a couple of days.

Vegas was very busy, we visited this last week of March. Even downtown Vegas was busy.

The Fiesta was not very busy, fun casino, able to win a little bit.
They have a Starbucks, Fatburgers

We ate in the Amigos Mexican Cantina which was very good.

Next time I'm in Vegas I would visit the casino again. I'm not sure I would stay here just because of the location.
