BUYER BEWARE!! We stayed at this hotel for two nights the weekend of October 19th and 20th. First impressions revealed what seemed to be a nice hotel with a friendly staff. So far, so good. Upon entering our room we were overwhelmed with the strong smell of cigarettes. This is suppose to be a non-smoking hotel!! Also, we found candy wrappers on the floor beside the bed. Strike one!

Then after retiring for the night at around midnight, we were awoken and kept awake for several hours by people in the hallway and up and down the staircase, which was right next to our room. In the morning when my husband went down to the breakfast bar, he found that the motel had been taken over by a hoard of tween hockey players which explained the noise the night before. These boys had completely depleted and destroyed the breakfast bar by 9 am and there was no food to be found even though they supposedly served until 10 am. Strike two!!

Saturday evening the noise in the hallway was even worse so finally at around 2:30 am we called the front desk to complain. When the noise continued until 4 am, we called again. We were told that they were sorry and that we would receive compensation for our troubles when we checked out a few hours later. Things finally quieted down around 5:30 am!! STRIKE THREE!!!

When we went to check out we were compensated $25/night (definitely not enough!) for our trouble. The only thing was that since we paid cash they would send us a refund check in 7-10 business days. It is now November 14th and I guess the check must still be "in the mail".

My two basic requests when staying at a motel is that it is clean and that I get a good nights sleep. The cleanliness was questionable and I definitely didn't sleep here!

For a new hotel we had a disappointing stay. The fridge didn't work. The shower/bath tub was dirty. Very noisy children running up and down the hall all hours of the night and the staff didn't seem to care, even after we called to report it several times. Pool was small but clean. Breakfast was the best I've ever had for "free" (hot breakfast sandwiches, made to order waffles, fresh fruit).

We stayed two nights here for a little spring break get-away. Nice, new property. Our king room with pull out sofa was perfect for our family. We had a lot of trouble with the microwave and the fridge working properly and the hotel was rather noisy, but all in all it was a fairly nice place to stay.

Stay at this property monthly, hotel is new and fairly clean by default. With most new construction the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on next door. BTW why does the staff seem to place guests in the room next to you when there are only five cars in the lot? Breakfast is fair, standard rubber eggs and such, although the attendant could do a better job at dumping the garbage cans and making sure the coffee is full. The price is right as long as no one is next to your room.
