“OK Rooms, Close to Gillette Stadium”

Courtyard by Marriott Boston Foxborough

3 of 5 stars
Mechanicsburg, PA

We stayed here for the weekend to attend a Patriots game. The stadium is only a 10 minute drive through town, which was very convenient and helped us avoid all the traffic. But after the game we found the only parking spot left was on the complete other side of the hotel.
The room was okay and it had a couch and desk. But it was on the small side. The bed sagged and was not comfortable. The bathroom wasn't the cleaniest and the water pressure could use some work. But we've stayed in worse hotels. At least it had high speed internet access and was in a nice quiet, area.
We ate dinner at the Picadilly Pub next door one night and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
It was nice to be close to the stadium. But I think next time we'd try one of the other hotels in the area. For the price, we were dissappointed.

“Below expectations”

We stayed at this hotel because of its close proximity to the Tweeter Center. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean. The place was surprisingly quiet, even though there was a wedding party there, and a concert at the Tweeter Center. We booked the "best" room, the executive 2-room suite. It was nothing special. The bed was terrible. My husband and I rolled into a deep hole in the mattress, and spent an awful night trying to climb out enough to get a decent night's sleep. Didn't happen. When we complained in the morning, we were told all mattresses will be replaced 2nd quarter of next year. To their credit, the desk staff cheerfully refunded the difference for the suite upgrade, and threw in free breakfasts, too. The breakfast was decent, and the waitstaff was exceptional.
We won't consider going back until the new beds arrive. With such easy highway access from the Tweeter Center, it makes more sense to just jump on the highway and stay someplace nicer next time. The whole point of staying at a hotel is to get a decent night's sleep. There's no excuse for a lousy bed in a $194 per night room!

“Avoid the Place”

Courtyard by Marriott Boston Foxborough

Jul 11, 2005

Smelly, dingy, loud and damp rooms complemented by noise, droning AC and potential for concert goers at the nearby stadium. I would avoid the place.

Recently stayed at the Courtyard in Foxboro. The hotel was OK...compared to other Courtyard properties.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly but the guest rooms are another thing. I had a king-bedded room and the mattress horrible. Very uncomfortable. The TV was old and picture wasn't too clear, the radio was about 15 years old, and the back of the couch was not stuffed well.

I enjoyed the fact that my room had a balcony and the high-speed internet was EXCELLENT! Breakfast was OK, again staff nice.

This hotel needs a lot of work in its guest rooms. Hopefully, the property will be renovated shortly...the new concepts are quite NICE! The hallways were too dark. Just need to brighten things up.

“Convenient location, quiet setting, great price”

Courtyard by Marriott Boston Foxborough

We stayed here 7/3 for the Eric Clapton concert at Tweeter Center. The hotel is about 5 miles from Tweeter Center, so it's a great location.

We arrived at 1:30 and were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk who checked us in in less than 3 minutes even though check in wasn't until 3:00.

Our room was a king on the top floor as requested. It had a desk, sofa and small walkout balcony.

The A/C worked great and the room was clean. We paid 80.10 AAA rate and it was a great deal.

There is a restaurant at the far end of the parking lot--Piccadilly Pub but no restaurant onsite.

I'd recommend this hotel.
