BEST PLACE IN LOUISVILLE!

Fusion food, very interesting menu, and a good price

This place is just overblown. Some of the Louisville crowd swears by this place. The food is mediocre at best. The service is minimal and the prices are crazy for the portions that you get. I have went here on numerous trips over many years and always have the same impression that it is nothing special. If you want to waste your money go right on ahead.

When I saw their menu online I thought it was quite varied and suggested various twists on dishes that I had had in other cities and some I had never experienced…

My wife, mother, and I decided to try the place for lunch. They offer nice outdoor and indoor seating. They have an atmosphere of a Mediterranean village, but with a local flair…”casual, family run, and enjoys feeding you”. I believed they were renovating or remodeling some areas, but it did not interfere with our meal.

The service was excellent…my mother asked to buy a little extra pesto cream sauce (served with her “Mr. Krab’s Grouper”, you’ve got to try this one) for her take-away crate… The server told her there would be no charge, but it would take the chef a minute or to two make some more up (it’s made with the dish). Can you say more…

I certainly felt the dishes were prepared when ordered and they were prepared quickly

Homemade salsa, as good as any (if not better) than I have had in Mexico, SOCO, TX, or FL…

Tuna steak sandwich cooked medium-rare (your choice), very good and the pickled mango dressing was a nice twist on preparations I have from the Caribbean.

Louis Marsala and the Crème Carmel were other great choices we enjoyed.

Once mainstream picks them up good luck on a table…extra parking in back.
