We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites in Helen during June 2005 and loved it. The spacious, updated rooms and large indoor pool were great. The breakfast was better than we expected too. (Warm and cold foods and plenty of varities of herb teas.) It is close enough to walk to all the restaurants and shopping in Helen. (We love to eat at The Troll.) The staff was wonderful too.

Stayed here Saturday night on Valentines Day Weekend. We settled for a basic room, but very satisfied, especially for the price. If you have been to the area, you know most everything is older so you don't know what to expect inside. The Hampton Inn was not much to look outside and i couldn't imagine it being worth $20 - 30 more per nigh. This was very clean, friendly staff and exceptional breakfast for the "free fare" you find nowadays. Eggs, sausage, biscuits gravy and grits - in addition to the muffins and cereal. Very clean and well kept social area. Pool area looked clean. Approx 1/2 mile walk to the heart of tourist area of downtown.

My daughter's wedding was in Helen, and we stayed at the Country Inn & Suites. The staff was wonderful!!!!! I needed access to the "Honeymoon Suite" early Saturday before we left at noon to setup for the wedding. Even though the room had been used the night before - they cleaned it quickly and had the keys in my hands by 11 a.m. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast buffet was great both days. Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & highly recommend it. This hotel is in between the Helen visitor center & downtown Helen. You can park your car at the hotel & walk everywhere. Every single employee at the hotel was extremely friendly & everyone greeted you. There are fresh cookies at the check in counter. There is a hearty hot & cold breakfast included with the price of the room. The rooms are large & nicely decorated. If you are undecided, stay here!

We have just returned from our 5th stay at the Country Inn & Suites Helen. It is a place for all occasions having a large 4 ft deep indoor pool (the kids just love this) and also special suites for romantic getaways. All of the staff has always been super nice, and have always accomidated every need. You are just a short walk from downtown and you can see the FestHall from the Hotel. Really. really clean and nice comfortable rooms with a great atmosphere. If you stay here you can't go wrong!!
