I've been in two times in the last few days; once I had the steamers and another time the shrimp lunch entree--how delicious. I also visited with Tony, whose family started the business in Provincetown, MA on Cape Cod in the early 1900s. Everything I tasted was just delicious--served piping hot and extremely fresh. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting wonderful seafood.

Ate lunch with friends at Lobster Pot in Siesta Key Village. None of us had been before. The four of us were extremely pleased with the quality of food and the service.

Later read that Lobster Pot is highly rated by tripadvisor members. Plan to have dinner there on next visit to Siesta Key.

The Lobster Pot was a great find - based the visit on some input from the Sarasota locals and reviews on Tripadvisor. Food was outstanding (broiled Mahi, Salmon Rockafeller and Chicken Caesar salad). Prices were reasonable - food was great - service was excellent. A must.

After reading about the Lobster Pot on this website, we thought that we had to try it.
The Lobster Pot is located on Siesta Key. We had lunch but would have loved to go back for dinner. We did not get the chance on this trip.
We had a spicy scallop dish. It was really good. Very rich & spicy . Since it was lunch we were only able to try 2 items, but in looking over the menu, there were many choices.
The staff & service was very good & they had great personalities & wanted to make sure your questions were answered.
If you have a chance to stop by, I don't think that you will be let down.
It is a casual restaurant so you could see people dressed in beach attire or even in business casual.
