We had a reservation for this property and our GPS malfunctioned en route. We found our way to within 10 miles of the hotel and they were unable to give us directions. We called more than six times & were offered no assistance WHEN they bothered to answer the phone
After a long day driving we were exhausted & after almost two hours trying to find the property, we came across another Holiday Inn Express just off 535, by accident, and checked in there instead.
The front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. When we asked about dining in a bar/restaurant that was literally on the driveway of their property she told us they did not servce food, but possibly snacks. We gave it a shot as we were sure a bar next to several hotels would have food. We had a great meal in thesports bar called Cheers, and on return notified the clerk that is was a full service place she could recommend.
When we checked into our room the handle fell off the toilet on first flush and they suggested moving us. We were already unpacked, tired & starving, so said absolutely not - fix it, which they did.
Both issues are easily resolved, but were very frustrating for us. We will not stay in a Holiday Inn Express again. And that is four of us total that were attending a business conference.
