Just back from a 2 week stay at Vista Cay. We booked a lux 3 bedroom apartment for our family holiday, 2 adults plus our two "kids" aged 22 and 19. All in all the condo apartment was very good. It was very large with three good sized bedrooms. The master bedroom had the biggest on suite I have ever seen, with an oversized bathtub and a walk in shower.

There was a seperate bathroom and showe as well. The living room and kitchen area are all open plan and very clean and tidy.

There is a great seperate lanudry room with a dryer and a washing machine which was very handy. The apartment had a 50" HD plasma tv with HD cable. All 3 bedrooms had their own LCD TV's and DVD players. Great when our kids wanted to watch some MTV or a movie on their own.

There was also a PC in the apartment but we could not log onto the internet as you needed a password and we never go round to finding out what it was.

The location was great for us, although like all off Florida you do need a car to get around. It is an easy 10 min drive to Wet n Wild, Universal, Sea World and 5 mins to I Drive. Disney is slightly further away, say 15 - 20 mins to the Disney Car Parks.

The pool area and clubhouse are good with free internet (4 PC's are available) plus two free pool (snooker) tables.

It is all very new and well laid out. We did not hear any construction works although there is some near by (not major and not an issue). we did not hear any noise in the apartment and the resort semed half full.

The pool area gets a little bit busy around 4 - 6 pm when people return from the Parks and Shopping but there were always free beds and chairs available.

We would recommend this Resort for families doing the parks and looking for great facilities in a great central location.

I stayed at Vista Cay resort for 10 nights during June of this year (2008). The condo itself was fabulous, bigger than anything I have ever seen, and all the appliances one could ever need. The standard of cleanliness was great aswell, 2 huge bedrooms with 2 huge bathrooms! This is an ideal place to stay in Orlando and I have nothing bad to say about my stay there! The staff that we met to check us in were also more than helpful. I will definately be staying here again on future trips to Orlando. The only thing I would say is if you are staying here without a car, its quite a walk to International Drive, not sure whether a bus service runs. I think Vista Cay gives more than one could expect for the very reasonable rates!

This was our first family trip ever and I am so glad that I booked with Vista Cay! I was floored by the beauty of the property and extremely relieved by all the conveniences that were offered. My kids ohhed and ahhed and my husband was impressed. Very Close to Universal and International Drive and the Disney Parks are about a 20 minute drive. We have decided to spend all our Orlando vacations at Vista Cay.

Just of universal boulevard it is only 10mins etc from Seaworld, etc and yes a little further to Disney world but after a hectic day sight seeing its a pertfect retreat to unwind. yes i would definitely book again.
