I stayed at the Fairfield Inn in March and booked it thru the Seaworld website. Since I was going to Seaworld anyway it was a better deal to book the hotel thru them rather than booking it thru the hotel and then buying Seawolrd tickets. The hotel was nice, nothing special but then I wasn't looking for anything special. They have a Contiental breakfast which we went to once. The rooms were nice enough and the pool was very nice with many lounge chairs and towels to use. The hotel was 1 block in from International Drive which makes it a more quiet stay. You did have to walk about 5 mins to get to I-Drive to get the trolley. The trolley is a great asset and the hotel will give you free passes each day to ride it. You can also cut thru the field across from the hotel to the trolley but I didn't want to do that at night. The hotel desk will tell you to walk to Sand Lake Road and then up to I-Drive to get the trolley but I found it quicker to walk in the other direction to Carrier Drive and then up to I-Drive. There is a Friday's on the corner across from the hotel and then once you get to I-Drive there's an IHOP, Perkins, Denny's, DD's, Walgreens, just to name a few. The hotel staff behind the front desk were very nice, eager to please and very helpful. We also went to Epcot by taking the trolley to stop 32, I believe, right outside of Sea World. You then take the #50 Lynx bus (which is Orlandos public bus system) to the Magic Kingdom/Disney transportation system and then we took the monorail to Epcot. Very easy to do. I would recommend this hotel. I did alot of research before I booked here and decided for me the combination of location, price and pool area that this was best for me.
