We reserved the Fairfield inn for spring break via the Universal vacations website. We had a very good price wich include the hotel and Universal tickets.

The hotel was very clean, friendly and very quiet, even during the Spring break.

We had a standard room wich was well appointed and big enough for the 3 of us. The beds were not the most comfortable but it was ok. We liked the free wireless Internet connection in our room.

The breakfast was good, but no waffle like some other hotels. After 7:30, the breakfast area was very crowed and it was hard to access food without bumping in each other.

The location was ideal and the highway I-4 was very easy to access. It was a short drive to Universal and Seaworld (ask for the coupon book at the front desk. Free upgrade parking and other discounts). We even went to Busch Gardens in Tampa, wich is 1h15 from the hotel via the I-4.

We would stay again at the Fairfield Inn Internation Drive for the location, the tranquility and the price.

We booked this hotel thru Unviersal Vacations as part of package deal for hotel and park tickets and is one of the best deals I've ever had.... The hotel is minutes away from Universal and you can walk to the shops and restaraunts along International Drive.

Parking was very easy and the hotel is well maintained and quiet. Our room was the standard one which we had for three nights and we were even able to check in earlier than planned.

Breakfast in the morning was good and the staff was very friendly with tips and directions of thing to do.

I would diffently stay here again.

our family of 4 (children 16 and 11) stayed in this hotel for a 3 week holiday. on arrival the reception staff were very friendly and helpful and we were given a welcome pack containing some mini toiletries and special offer coupons for restuarants and attractions in the area.
our room was very nice with 2 large very comfortable double beds. we had no problems with our maid service as i had read in some reports b4 we went. we took advantage of the free safety deposit box in the reception area so you knew all our important documents, tickets and money etc was safe.
we enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. it was always well stocked with fresh fruit, cereals, breads and lovely coffee and fruit juices, just what you need to get started in the morning. we always managed to get a table although it is much busier over the weekends.
we had hired a car but the did have shuttle bus services from the hotel to all the major theme parks and it was only a 2 minute walk to international drive which was great if you fancied going out in the night without having to take the car.
i would definately recommend this hotel to people of all ages.my only complaint (if you could call it a complaint) is that the pool is at the back of the hotel and is in the shade all day so you cant really lie in the sun if you want a relaxing day. on the other hand you are only a 10 minute walk from wet and wild.

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks while visiting the Orlando theme parks. The hotel is situated on a quiet side-street off International Drive. It's within 5 or 10 minutes walk of a large number of restaurants, shops and I-Trolley stops for access to the rest of International Drive and Seaworld. Free shuttle buses also run from the hotel to the Universal parks. Disney is about a 20 to 30 minute drive.

We stayed in a suite room, which was very spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. The maids did an excellent job - our room was cleaned daily and was always spotlessly clean. One minor downside of the room was that the king-sized bed had a foam mattress, so was not the most comfortable hotel bed we've slept in!

The hotel also offers a free continental buffet breakfast with a very large selection of items to choose from. We could have chosen a different combination of items for breakfast on every morning of our two week stay! Although breakfast runs until 10am, we found that it was best to head down before 7:30 to avoid the crowds.

The hotel also has a pool, reasonably-stocked shop, slightly-dated games room and cheap laundry facilities ($2.50 in total for detergent, one wash and dry).

We read reviews about the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff before our stay - and they are very true!! All of the staff could not do more to help, and made us feel very welcome even when they were busy.

We would highly recommend this hotel for visits to the Orlando area. It is significantly better than many other more-expensive hotels we've stayed in around the world!
