Stayed at this hotel 24/4 to 8/5. Loved it. The rooms were excellent, spotlessly clean and maid service every day. Loved the kitchen area and seperate bedroom.

Pool area is shaded but nice.

Breakfast was very good, busy some days but you can take it up to your room.

All staff at the hotel are really friendly and helpful. Toasie who works on the Universal desk is a really nice lady, she is so friendly and good with the kids.

Universal shuttles excellent, Disney shuttles can be a bit cramped and there wasnt enough room for us to fit in the shuttle on the way home, they said they would send another shuttle for us but we ended up getting a taxi. When we returned to the hotel the manager from the shuttle service phoned our room and apologised and offered us free transport to a mall, etc any day during the rest of our stay.

We are going back to Orlando May 09 and will definitely be returning to this hotel.

I stayed here with my family in July 2007. It was a great base to stay. The rooms were clean. The cleaners didn't seem to clean the rooms at all while we were there but that made it seem more homely as we were able to relax and not worry about our family time being interrupted. If you're English and like a cup of tea i would definitely bring a kettle and your own tea bags. Their tea tastes like p*ss and they don't provide a kettle. It was very nice to have a suite as it was possible for family members to take a break from one another at times. There was a small problem with small insects climbing along the edge of the carpets in the bedroom and kitchen area but this was soon dealt with when reception was informed.
We've been to Orlando 3 times before and this was by far the best hotel we've stayed in. Oh, and they have excellent facilities for laundering your clothes too.

We stayed here for ten nights on the 080508 the hotel
was clean and well placed for disney.
but from the start the air conditioning hummed away day and night i never slept once and only made 3 days before checking out.
we had to leave and check in to the wyndham for a good nights sleep.
stay at the humming hilton and i guarantee you wont rest
for the humming noise. i was shown lots of rooms all of which were equally noisey. staff were very helpful but like lying
on top of noisy fan.

We had a one-night stay and two business meetings at this location, and the staff will be the reason we return here for business! Everything they did was above and beyond what I've experienced at other hotels; not just polite but, "let me do the extra" at their initiative. I truly felt the service level was that you would find at a five-star resort!

We had a suite in which we held our meetings, the rooms were clean and the staff allowed us to add our meeting location to the bulletin board downstairs (their suggestion). The hotel has bellhops that really help you with your luggage and double as concierge's (calling taxi's, etc)--what a lovely service to find at this type of hotel!

Again, as a business location this was great; management was excellent. It is VERY close to attractions and International Drive has a bevy of restaurants in walking distance.
