did booking on hotelreservations.com and it was best ever! stayed in Miami Beach for a couple of times now, but this location and value for money is just awesome!!!! expensive bathroom, flatscreen, nice bar .... evreything!!! always again!!!

I just stayed at this hotel, small rooms and not enough lighting like all the other reviews read , but it was still a nice room. The hotel is in a great location , you have plenty of eateries near by and 2 blocks from the beach. there is no hotel parking, but there was a parking garage a couple blocks away for 15.00 a day. My husband and I took advantage of the happy hour every night. FREE drinks from 7-8 !! I also had my 14 year old with us who loved the patio area for girl watching. My family and i would stay here again.

This place was pretty nice. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable. It has a nice art deco feel to it. The location is great, only 2 blocks from Ocean Dr and 3 blocks from the beach.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and we got free drinks at the bar during happy hour! I would stay again and recommend to a friend for sure.

Visiting Miami for the music conference, we knew that we had to stay somewhere with a lively scene, yet with chilled rooms to catch up with sleep, in a location central enough to all the action - and I'm pleased to say that the Hotel Chelsea was all those things.

Rooms although somewhat dark and not very good for space (next to no room for clothes), were clean, quiet and well equipped - I was really impressed. Also the cleaners were very considerate of our unsociable sleeping patterns!

In terms of location, it is in somewhat of a seedy area, but then most of Miami has this side to it. Only a few blocks from the waterfront it's not badly located, although a real shame it doesn't have a pool on site.

Perhaps just for conference week, but there was quite an interesting reggae scene in the hotel lobby, but this added to the amusement factor more than anything. I think you could find better for the money, but this is certainly a charming hotel that served us well and I would stay there again!
